#AFC have apparently refused #THFC's approach to play home games at the Emirates while they renovate their ground. Harsh. #TheWayItShouldBe

that was one tweet i saw going around just now, while also seeing lots of others talking about it. it is most likely bollocks, but the cheek of them to as ask. i hope the board just laughed at them, then told them to fuck off if this is true

on a serious note, how do groundshares work for home and away games. given it is our ground, when spurs play us at "home" would we be kicked into the away end?

not that i am supporting this is in anyway, we built our own stadium and coped, why teh fuck should we help those ****s

Yeah we'd have an away allocation, I'd imagine. Though I guess we could ask for a higher percentage of Spuds' gate receipts.

The idea of them co-sharing, even for a few seasons.

Eurgh. Can't think the police would enjoy it either.

yeah, co shaaring with them would be awful. it wont happen, because they will just trash the place and cause us damage because it wont affect them. i cant believe they even asked. ****s

We co-shared at WHL when the MoD sequestered or whatever they did with Highbury during WWII

isnt that very different though. we needed a ground because the governement took ours over, they want to make it easier on themselves

I suppose they could always wait until the Boleyn Ground is vacant.

Right well that's not happening for a fucking start, obviously a joke but if they even briefly imagine for a split second this is conceivable as an albeit wildly unlikely and speculative hypothetical prelude to an inkling of an idea they are out of their fucking minds. Not happening so end it there please.

I can't imagine their fans would want it any more than we would.
Why would they want to go to 'home games' every other week in a stadium festooned with Arsenal murials and statues.
Silly idea. Never going to happen.

I wouldn't put anything past our board if it makes them money.

Loads of Italians teams do it.
Milan teams do it.
Rome teams do it.
And they both have much bigger rivalries than yours.

Hope it happens.

Really good point, that.

Yes, agreed. But there's one thing he's forgetting, Italians are poofs so it makes sense for them and is very convenient.

They will be saving a huge amount of money on ref's wages next season.

Board said yes, but then the groundsman wanted an extra Tenner for some seed and a rake to cope with the addition pitch wear so the deal fell through.

Sounds like a load of heresay to me. They must have known we'd have told them to fuck off.

They were originally going to build the stadium in sections so they didn't have to leave WHL during construction. Always seemed a bit of an odd idea to me.

dont see a problem with it tbh

as long as we can lock them in and parachute some roma fans into the stadium after the game.

Perfect can go ahead now, we can play Tues/Weds they can play Thu/Sun... Groundsman will have a word with Bale re rolling around like a baby when he dives and gets booked again...

We must do this.

You should always help a neighour in need. Forever friends.

Other benefits:
- More income
- Take the viciousness out of the rivalry as they will be eternally grateful and friends.
- We could start buying their players. The young boy Tom Carroll looks better than Wilshere.
- Media will start to like us since we helped out a club once blessed with Arry.
- They have nowhere else to go.

This coming from Mr. Violence Is The Answer?

I don't see how buying their players is going to hold sway with taking the viciousness out of the rivalry.
