Probably not big enough a story to warrant it's own thread tbh. Should have stuck it in the "Rodgers the muppet thread".

If they can get him on low wages he'd be a decent 3rd/4th choice backup player. Still, he seems like a shadow of the player he once was especially after the drugs ban and the car salesman escapades (:haha:) . It could turn out to be a Squillachi situation for them if they give him a long contract. RAWK don't appear happy about it.

I doubt the owners would sanction a long deal. Probably 1 year with the option for another.

If getting him frees up funds to get someone younger and better than I'm not too bothered. If he is the pinnacle of our summer defence dealing then bugger. Our new scouts are from City, which may explain this move.
