why is it they always seem to sign amazing players? Why don't we instead of signing one player for £35mil, spend £35mil on acquiring porto's transfer targets instead, surely one of them will come good.

They can sign a lot of exciting South American talent because 3rd party ownership is allowed in Portugal.

Pretty much. And they are a fairly big club in Portugal I am leg to believe.

Also, Bernard has some kind of third party ownership too I think.

what i admire about them is they get it right so many times

Falcao, Martinez,Hulk,Moutinho just to name a few.

How come they keep buying such quality players so consistently.

Falcao left and they bought an even more clinical striker in Martinez.

Because of that third party ownership thing.

And being the biggest Portugese club, they get first pick of the top talent.
