Better being realistic than a deluded tosser in my book.

can you still class Wilshere as a youngster? i know hes only 21, but hes been playing first team football for three years now.

when i said youngster in that list, i meant a non first team player. ie, zealem akpom etc etc

In which case I don't really know much about the new crop of youngsters, If anyone's going to make an impact I think it could be Sanogo. Zelalem is really young so I don't know how many games he'll play even in the Carling Cup.

No I am that's why I'm often right, you don't think so because you're so deluded that's why you're almost always wrong.

Just look at your predictions about players we were going to sign.

Don't think any of those guys will be around the first team though. They'll stay in the reserves or go on loan.

Sanogo is probably ahead of them for the squaddie role.

A lot depends on any potential signings, but anyway:

League: 3rd

FA Cup: Fourth round

Champions League: Quarters

League Cup: Semis

Top scorer: Giroud. Or Suarez.

Best player: Koscielny

Most improved: Ramsey

Biggest surprise: Gibbs staying fit

Worst player: Podolski

Goals scored: 81

Goals conceded: 36

Best youngster: Gnabry

My predictions are based on the current squad an no quality signings coming in (so Wenger signing some 2nd rate nobodies).

League - 5th (with current squad)
Fa Cup - 5th Round
Champions League - Last 16
Captial One Cup - Quarter Finals
Top goalscorer - Walcott
best player - Koscielny
most improved player - Our players don't really improve do they?
biggest surprise - Not really a surprise but Irony that for all our talk of transfers this will be the one season where we spend £zero
worst player - Ramsey
goals scored - doubt much more than 60 (in the league)
goals conceded - 35-40 (in the league)
best youngster - Thomas Eisfeld if he gets to see any meaningful action (though for me in the footballing world 20 isn't a youngster, a youngster is 18 or younger)

Because I don't like Spurs.

Every summer it's the same and then we get the let's get behind what we have BS, despite the I think Wenger should go claims.

I'm not going to pretend to be excited about something I'm not, there's no new signings so nothing to be excited about, it's pretty much the same team as last season.

I look upon supporting Arsenal the same way I do as supporting a severely handicapped child, you love them with all your heart and care for them....but you know deep down that your pissing into the wind expecting anything from them.

I suppose it's a bit like caring for a partner whose become a vegetable as well....the compassionate/caring love is still there but nothing else...and deep down you resent them....and have found yourself on more than one occasion looking at the bottle of nembutol longingly.

Don't care. I'm pissed off with a lot of things.

But you get behind your team. Whoever they are.

guys im convinced perez is going to be the new flamini. i just have this feeling.

you cant be a columbian and a) not be tough as fuck b) not GHEL the league up

i have a good feeling about this guy. if we get a world class forward in and sign up perez i reckon we could win the league

this is what happens when you're an arsenal fan. we went into the 07-08 season thinking we were fucked but we ended up putting on a title challenge. thats given us hope going into every season. we're never sure what to expect and whether we are able to do something similar.

we've kept all our big players so we have a settled squad. 2 signings like perez/gustavo and suarez/benzema and we're onto a winner

columbian trialist, 20 years old, DM, won columbian league 2 years ago, won double last year.

looks like a tough fucker, hacked down city players today. new flamini apparently.

must get.

I'll say the same thing I did then.

tbf cripps we're not signing a proper DM so we might as well sign a tough columbian cunt who has promise and is willing to hack players down. he'll offer steel.

better than wimpy arteta.

No surprise he came on for Arteta and apparently we improved.

I've changed my mind. Keep him
