What will it be?
I don't think we'll lose. On the basis that voting for a draw is a bit of a cop-out, I'll say Arsenal win.

Hmmmm, if we lose the old enemy benefits. If we win the new enemy benefits.
Got to go with the team and try to ignore the rest. 1-1 likely but a squeaky 1-0 possible.

Just logged on to afc.com. There are tickets available in almost every block in the upper tier. This is unheard of. If I wanted to go to this fixture in the past, I'd have to stay online all day refreshing the page until a seat became available and even then, they'd be sold to someone else trying the same thing.
People are in a waiting period :coffee:

This is unheard of, I think there are 100-200 seats available on ticket exchange for Spuds game. You can also get seats from row 1 on block 25. :coffee:

Some of them ain't even ticket exchange seats now.
Not sure how that happened....I guess they held some back.
It's almost like general sale for the fucking North London Derby!

Yeah, there are groups of 10 seats together in some blocks. I have never seen this before. When I was getting FY his Chelsea to ticket, it took me about four or five days constantly checking ticket exchange

I'm guessing people are protesting against us protesting against spending money, or they're fearful of seeing us getting a tonking.

i think we will win. its the biggest game of the season, so the fans generally acutally get behind the team until the very end. remember the first 5-2, at 2-0 down it was all still loud support. so i think the fans will play a huge part and urge the team on, scrappy 1 goal win for us.
i dont want to think about losing, all hell will break loose

We're going to the derby as the underdogs for the first time since the ice ages. Pretty much everyone I've spoken to thinks Spurs will beat us as well as the pundits. That might actually work to our advantage as it takes the pressure off of us. We play a lot worse when we're expected to win.
2-1 to the Arsenal

The lineup they could field tomorrow is formidable:
Lloris
Walker Chiriches Vertonghen Rose
Capoue Paulinho
Chadli Eriksen Lamela
Soldado
IMO that's a better lineup than what we can field at the moment. However, with home advantage and in all likelihood not all the new signings starting I think we can get a draw.

Chaldi, Walker and Rose are shite tbh.
Capoue, Paulinho, Chiriches are unproven at this level. They could flop massively with the intensity of the PL.
Soldado is decent but really no better than Giroud. Massive overspend by the scum there.
Only three that I would take for our squad are Eriksen, Lamela and Vertonghen.
Lloris is about a million times better than Chesney.

Soldado's scored 59 goals in 101 appearances for Valencia, he's got a lot more pedigree than Giroud.

How good is this Lamela? I'd never heard of him.
No :gp:
I wanted Chesney to be good but am now coming round to the fact he's dogshite and the youth product of a manager who's has no idea what good goalkeeping is. Too many mistakes, too many misjudments and just poor general play which isn't easy to address, doesn't seem to have a solid game to fall back on.

Chesney conceded less goals in the league then Lloris last season :coffee:
Know nothing about Draxler, doubt anyone does either not exactly a household name and at £38 million he should be. We won't sign him anyway it's just another paper story about how we're going to spend big on players this summer.
So far none have happened and in all likelyness none will.
Chesney conceded less goals in the league then Lloris last season :coffee:
So what, he was absolute sh*t, Spurs defence is rubbish anyway.
Sorry but Chesney is shite and was all last season and in the Euros as well where he let his country down big time and they dropped him after half a game.

No, come on. I noticed the kid seems to step up when he's under pressure. His place has been under threat (well not really because we never sign anyone) and his performances have improved. Tells me he's up for the fight but complacent the rest of the time. Which is exactly why people are saying we need some competition for the starting place to push him. Godd for him, good for the club. That's why Wenger won't do anything.

Bookies have us narrow favourites which I think we are now that a few first team players are confirmed fit. Not looking forward too playing them in 6 months though, if their team comes together. They will be clear favourites for that one.

considering playing at home for us at the moment is more like playing away from home considering how the way we set up leaves us prone to being slaughtered on the counter attack i think i would take a draw if it was offered, that said i don't see us losing unless we commit on field suicide or the officiating is at dreadful as it was against Aston Villla.
The problem is we are going to lose a lot of the effectiveness of Santi Cazorla by playing him on the wing (but really what choice do we have) i think in the last three games him and Tomas Rosicky have been excellent in a creative sense for us and for all the money Spurs have spent they haven't really improved their defence which like ours can be extremely ponderous at times...conversely without Bale they won't offer anywhere near as much threat to us through pace.
Unlike that prat who rightly got himself banned from this board i see no merit in hoping that we lose in order for Wenger to make signings, because he should be able to see for himself without us losing that we are in need of recruitment even if just to bolster the squad.
A win combined with a loss or a draw for United would see the table looking a lot more favourable for us come Sunday night, only a point behind Chelsea and potentially on the same amount of points as Spurs and City and on more than United.
I'd love to look back on the Villa game come November and be able to see it as a one off aberration...I certainly don't think it is, but given additions to the team it could well prove to be (and no i am not confident of that whatsoever but there's no reason not to be hopeful).

Bookies have it evens we'll commit suicide on the pitch and 1/10 the officiating will be dogshit. Odds on Wenger spending money are [their business/houses/yachts and whores]-1, which are pretty crappy odds when you think about it.
