The way the dirty laundry was aired so publicly and openly was mental but I don't think sacking Malky Mackay is a bad decision in itself. He's been heavily over rated recently by all the journos and the wider football community simply because Tan's weird and odd actions have portrayed him as the "underdog".

He spent a fortune in the summer compared to the clubs around him, overpaying considerably for dross (which is where part of the anger stems from), most of whom haven't done it and then has the nerve to ask for even more money in the January window. And let's not forget he started off with the best championship team from last season. The results and the style of football really haven't reflected the investment put in - they're only one point from relegation and have been abysmal away from home.

He'll get the WBA job because his stock and reputation is still quite high though if he does my money is on them to get relegated.
