I'm not p*ssed at all, but all we've heard for the past few months is how the refs are corrupt and screwing us over. Utter nonsense, Liverpool have had more penalties anyone else this season.

Ah, so that's it, you haven't been listening. Nobody said the refs are exclusively screwing us over. What they are doing is cheating for city, blatantly. And it seems to piss you off when it's mentioned.

I've never thought it was corruption, just thought it was weak officiating. I think there was a ten year period where Man United didn't manage to concede a penalty at Old Trafford because the officials were just not strong enough to give the decision.
I think you learn all you need to learn about the ability of English referees when they go to the world cup, 2006 Graham Poll gives three yellow cards to Josep Simunic before sending him off and in 2010 Howard Webb manages to get to extra time before dolling out a red card to the Netherlands despite some of the appalling and dangerous fouls they were making....Referees in this country are either incompitent or they play to the occasion not to the offence.

Spirited enough at the end, but that will only ever get us so far..

I don't know why I'm saying this, given we're up next but Bacuna is proper shit. Hilariously shit.

Yes, but did I complain about your match commentary? No. So what's your point?

You were off topic.

What's that got to do with your match commentary?

The title is man city's. The refs are doing all they can to ensure city win the title. Every other match, a controversial decision or two goes their favor.
All we can hope to do is keep playing consistently and be close to the top.

I'd love to be wrong but its Citeh; Chelsea; us all the way this season. Money doesn't lie, and Pellegrini should be ashamed that the league isn't as good as won already with the resources at his disposal.

Still think the old mercenary spirit may drag city down at some point. Lots of money grabbing arseholes and egos to keep happy, though Pellegrini looks like he has a clue unlike that massively overrated turd Mancini. They really aren't as good as everyone is making out considering how much they have spent to buy the league. I was watching them on the weekend and they are shite at the back, all over the place. Their midfield is pretty much Toure, unless the opposition lies down then their other pixies can play. It's the options they have bought and stacked up front that make the difference. Injuries and suspension don't affect them, a big advantage there. And they have the refs who are responsible for gaining so many of their points.

I think the chvs might be the bigger threat with their grind it out anti-footballing machine. But Utd won it last year with an only slightly better than average team, we are better than that team. We have been written off for 21 games games now and yet we're still there. 17 games to go, we are batting a 70% win rate right now (home and away) and if we keep that up it will put just as much pressure on the gypos and chavs as they can throw back at us.

Like the post mate. Is it me, or does no pundit ever reference the way Citeh (and to a lesser extent the Chavs) have simply used money to buy success? (I know that sounds like sour grapes, but fuck it - this is an Arsenal forum).
