I'm wondering whether the Utd game will get rescheduled because of the proposed Tube strike next week?

The question was raised at the press conference today but Wenger didn't really have a definitive answer to it.

The lads have got to set their stall out, come out of the gate fast, put the opposition on the back foot, impose themselves, put their marker down, boss proceedings, but above all they've got to will have done good.

Shouldn't be too hard for United fans to get to the game !

Depends alot on which lines are affected really I guess. If the main one like the piccadily is fine, then perhaps it'll go ahead.

:haha:

That's not going to happen. We'll play like mongs in the first half but hopefully we keep the score to 0-0. And the second half we go up a few gears and try to win it. That's our blueprint for success in the last 12 months.

Fans though. All about health and safety right now innit.

The tube is how the majority of fans commute to the game if that's closed or heavily constrained then there's going to massive delays and crowding around the area which is going to pose both safety and security concerns.

Hopefully Boris and Bob Crow can sort something out by then.

Yep. If we're losing at half time we won't win. If we're not then we have every chance.

Not at all, the gypos still enjoy an artificially inflated points tally. And if you think this is some dig at you for changing your allegiance, that was not the intention. I would be the first to concede how staunchly you have supported maureen all season.

 You make me laugh.

Man City have been the best footballing side this season, some of their football has been amazing (they are missing Aguero of course but seeing as he's one of the best players in the world who wouldn't). Mourinho however has to be admired for his tactical nous and for how he prepares his teams (as highlighted by their win against the most potent attacking side in the PL on Monday), if only we have someone who was like that we might actually win something.

I find it interesting how all you could talk about a week ago was how City paid off the refs and now that they've failed to win in two you're focussing on Mourinho and Chelsea and how the press love them.

Spurs: Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Rose, Bentaleb, Dembele, Lennon, Paulinho, Eriksen, Adebayor.

Everton: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, McCarthy, Barry, Naismith, Osman, Pienaar, Mirallas.
Subs: Robles, Hibbert, Stones, Traore, Deulofeu, Barkley, McGeady.

Erm no - I'm commenting on the shifting stance of the media.

It's normal isn't it? When a team comes into it's own and goes top after beating the side perceived to have been the best it's kinda the norm for the press to praise them, noone believed Chelsea could overcome Man City, well noone outside Stamford Bridge anyway.

It really doesn't make the slightest bit of difference, fake teggers.

Unless Moyes gets sacked before Wednesday and Utd are left in total disarray there's bound to be a reaction from him and their team. As much as we deservingly laugh at him, Moyes isn't a complete moron - he did appear to be quite competent at Everton.

In my eyes at least, I'd much rather not face them when they're playing with their backs against the wall and have all to play for.

Moyes is more than capable of fucking both games up. Have some faith in him.

Thing is despite their terribleness they do have quality players (RVP, Rooney, Mata) who can win games on their own even without any managerial input. Eventually one of those fuckers is bound to do something - I'd much rather have that happen today instead of Wednesday.

Spurs boss Tim Sherwood: "Our game plan was to put pressure on high up the field and we didn't do that in the first half but second half we adjusted and had the ascendency and they didn't open us up once.

"I wasn't concerned. You want to have chances and shots at goal but if your ratio is one shot on target and one goal I'll take that.

"Emmanuel Adebayor took his goal well. We are delighted with the result. Yes the performance can be better but it's about character and grinding it out. I thought we were chalk and cheese between the two halves. Hugo Lloris was good for us in the first half. It was a huge result. It was a cup final. Sometimes people take cups and don't play very well."

Sherwood has to be a robot.
