Motivation is £80k for the week that came out of the fans' pockets. Showing them a bit of what they paid for couldn't have hurt. It really, really isn't just about the 3 points and CL qualification. None of it counts for a damn if the football is unwatchable.

That we won at all was something of a surprise when it was as pointless a game as we will play but then again the pressure is off so there was no reason to make unforced errors all over the place.

Good to get a result even if it weren't pretty. Giroud played like there was everything riding on it ironically.
