He's lost to him a few times on clay this season, problem with Federer seems to be a mental one...whenever he plays Nadal these days it's almost like he reaches a point where he starts to think he just can't beat him. You can see him playing some desperate shots and moving towards the net when he shouldn't.

True but then Djokovic also won the Australian which is a major.

I agree those two are arguably the best ever (there's a few others like Sampras etc who might have a case too though) but Nadal hasn't been at his best, Federer played well in the semi though, hasn't performed since the set point in the 1st though.

Ever since he missed that his game has been littered with errors.

His serve and backhand (two things which were really good in the semi) have really been missing this match.

Federer has always had problems with his backhand. Against lesser players, he can get away with it misfiring, but against Nadal, you need everything to be 100% and then wish Nadal has an off day.

Not sure about Djokovic on grass, though that's only because we haven't seen him play on it since he went insane. If Federer is drawn on his side then I don't think Djokovic will make the final, if Murray is on Djokovic's side, then I imagine he will.

Well that was plain bleedin' weird. Reminded me - of all things - of the Williams - Williams Wimbledon final in which service breaks were (suspiciously) traded left right and centre. I know, I was kidding. Soderling and Isner are the only players to have really threatened him at Roland Garros though :lol:.

Only one loss ever at the French Open and only nine in total on clay. Absolutely ridiculous. An amazing athlete and sportsman.

I think there's a very strong possibility of him overtaking Federer in Grand Slam titles.

Sport is lucky to have Federer and Nadal around at the same time.
