Sign him up. How does the work permit thing work? If you've played a certain number of games for your country at senior level is it less of an issue?

Yeah but you also thought Nedum Onuoha was rather good.

Haha…Let it go! Am sure you've been wrong on occasions. Just saying, we need a good striker and Rodriguez looks brilliant.

But he isn't really a striker.

You're thinking of his brother.

When did Monaco sign him? Did Falcao recommend him?

Should have gone for him when he was at Porto. Far too late now.

How much did he play last season for Monaco? Isn't Falcao their number 10?
If we were willing to gamble 40million on Suarez, then perhaps Wenger will pay an extra 15million and try to buy this kid. You never know :)

I wouldn't be surprised if he had some sort of 3rd party ownership as well.

Great talent but just not an Arsenal target. More for City, Chelsea, PSG etc.

He did well for them, a regular starter and one of their best players. 10 goals and a bunch of assists. He's out of our price range, he'll move to one of the elite clubs for major money.

Good player but we don't need him tbh . we have a better player than him in Ramsey . We should go for Alexis Sanchez and Scheiderlin or Vidal and Scheiderlin instead .
Once we get Sanchez even the need for a striker will be less urgent because with Giroud , Sanogo , Campbell and walcott supported by Ramsey , Podolski and Alexis we would have enough to cope in that area .

Monaco wouldn't sell him for the amount they paid for him, never mind an amount actually acceptable to them.

Just as he rolled his penalty in, Arsenal's twitter account dialled the wumming up to Wumger levels.

@Arsenal: Another goal for James Rodriguez... you can see his Monaco team at the Emirates Cup. Tickets: http://t.co/M8PVw16bVc http://t.co/YQvVkGw65g

He reminds me of a Ronaldo that can actually do the stuff a Ronaldo is supposed to be able to do.

looks very talented and an exciting player but let's face it, very few people were talking about him before this tournament.

let's see what happens when he returns to the back waters of the french league.

a great debut album. back to the studio to see if he's just another flash in the pan or not.

A couple good goals and he's the talk of the town typical World Cup hype, most of these guys come back down to earth with a banG after the tournament and end up on the scrapheap

Couldn't even lead Monaco to the ligue 1 title with Falcoa and a bunch of other big names in the team so people are going way over the top with him IMO.
