Times reporter Oliver Kay:

Tony Pulis has left Crystal Palace following disagreements over transfer policy. Official confirmation shortly. What a blow to #CPFC.

Pulis departure from #CPFC will officially be "by mutual consent". Not exactly a smooth and happy parting of the ways, though.

On the one hand, he was only given about 75p in the summer, which is never going to end well. On the other, given the amount of utter shit he bought for Stoke (he spent £85m ffs) then it's probably not surprising either.

Curbs third favourite.

Moyes has apparently rejected solid PL jobs as he thinks he deserves a CL/Europa team so there's no way I can see him at Palace. Main contenders according to the bookies are Tim Sherwood (lol), Neil Lennon and Malky Mckay. Hope they don't go for Mckay as he's horrendously overrated.

As for Pulis, his stock is as high as it's ever been after his miracle work last season and there are a host of PL who would jump to get him. I know a couple of Crystal Palace fans and they reckon this whole "him being angry at the lack of transfers" is BS and it's just a cover as he's been tapped up by another club (West Ham or Villa??). It does make some sense as some of the transfers that they've allegedly missed which have caused Pulis to get annoyed seem ridicolous:

- Michu? Palace can't compete with Napoli.
- Siguršsson? Has played for Swansea before and Swansea are a more attractive proposition than Palace at the moment.
- Caulker? QPR have already showed they're prepared to throw ridiculous money around under Harry. Can't blame Palace's board for not sanctioning the same sort of crazy money.

Anyway he's not going to struggle to get another job.

I'm pretty sure he's just trying to engineer a move to a bigger team, which is a cuntish thing to do two games before the start of the season. Tbf clubs wouldn't hesitate to sack a manager either when it's convenient for them, but Pulis should have left earlier and given them time to get a replacement.
