Is it just me or has Rio Ferdinand's memoires reminded us all that footballers don't seem to live in the real world? Rio's hissy fit over missing out on friday night chips (!), ramblings against Moyes for doing two touch training sessions (something followed by Guardiola!).

To be fair theres no "£55k a week? is that it?" bits reported but even so.

Can't say that I've had the pleasure of reading them, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's probably not just you.

While we're on the subject, is anyone else already sick to death of Paul Scholes's musings (which, for some reason, need to take up virtually the whole sports section) in the Evening Standard, and his one-man mission to prove that he is, in fact, the most boring person alive? Even the fucking picture of him is boring!

He makes 'boring' boring.

He's spoken more in the year since his retirement than he did during the previous 20 years.

Horrible and dour northerner.

Yes, he's a cunt and needs to be shot in the face. Other than that he's okay.

I don't really get the idea that because he didn't say much during his career that he must be some wise sage.

But for some reason he thinks we're dark horses for the CL, so I like him.
