Wenger on Ospina: "It's 2-3 months out. He first got the injury at Nice - I think maybe they rushed him back." #afc

So you go and sign him. You can't make this shit up :haha:

I think our injury trouble started with Gary Lewin leaving...

We must be either the most unluckiest team with injuries or we have the kiss of death on our players. According to Talkshite we have had the most injuries in the history of the premiership. That just about sums us up. Great for making loads of money but when it comes to keeping players injury free and winning titles, we lagg behind.
As painful as it hurts me to say, Chelsea are the current pride of London.

That's not even the full story.

I had to bring him on against Galatasaray without warm-up, without being prepared and he had a recurrence of that injury. That means he is out for two to three months. It’s a long-term injury.

Saw that in Arseblog yesterday.

Much betetr GK than Chesney. Better handling, more assured, better shot stopper and not an arrogant prick.

I think he'd have saved us at least 4-6points this season had he played from the start.

If we had Szczesny in goal for the Spurs game it would have been another 5-1.

Am I the only one that doesn't rate him? He's a good shot stopper but he still makes me feel nervous when commanding his area and making decisions. He's been better than Ches but I don't see him as the long term solution. He's no Courtois, De Gea or Lloris, this is the standard of keeper that we should have.

I think he is a breath of fresh air in the area. The amount of times Smokie put us under pressure with his bone-headed distribution is reason enough for the change.

Being a shot stopper is a bonus given our record of matching stats for shots and goals conceded before he came in the team.

He has impressed me most of the time, though last night he seemed shaky. A better option than Szcesny though...

I think he commands his area fairly well but I think he's also a bit Hollywood in how he pulls off his saves, and that could lead to spills and parrying the ball back out into danger.

Still, I'm quite happy for him to have an extended run in the team and prove his worth while Chesney sorts his life out.

Well done Wenger you've found another dud. WTF was this guy doing for their first goal!? Deflection or not he just stood there!

Marc Overmars

The ball was struck very sweetly with a lot of pace, I don't think he had much of a chance to save it in fairness.

Niall_Quinn
26-02-2015, 09:14 AM
He had no chance on the first goal, it was a massive deflection and he already had his feet planted to go the other way. He can't be blamed for that one.

Well done Wenger you've found another dud. WTF was this guy doing for their first goal!? Deflection or not he just stood there!

He had already started diving to his right, it was physically impossible for him to change direction. If anything it was Mertesacker's fault for making such a half arsed block.
