Chris Harvey: I maintain that Southampton last season was Nigel Adkins' team, not Mauricio Pochettino's. He's far from got me convinced.

Exactly right.

He seems to have got all the credit for players like Schneiderlin, Lallana, Shaw, etc. even though they'd been there for years. He wasn't there for long either and it wasn't as if his results were astronomically better than Adkins'. But I suppose you're only great or the latest purveyor of a crisis with no in between in the stupid world of football.

Chelsea's not much better tbf.

Five billion quid spent on their squads and a few injuries depletes these powerhouses.

If Old Man Dids gets the basics right and holds it up well, Chelsea should have more than enough to win. United have too many off-form, inexperienced and quite simply shit/stupid players starting. I expect they'll have little shape and the personnel is not suited to a conservative containing game either. It will be huge if they get any result.

United win is obviously better for the League. Chelsea win is good for more LOLs @ United.

Ideal result is obviously Bane entering the stadium.

It's hard to tell with his broken English but was LVG saying on his BBC interview that he predicted Chelsea would score from a freekick or a corner?

What a genius.

Why does Carragher keep saying Sanchez?

Unless he was talking about the Villa one but fairly sure he was talking about Vargas.

Anyway, Zamora was bullying defenders. It's never playing well when you're a big lump, it's always bullying.

4 games in Lambert was turning things around, having faith in youth, building a team, testament to keeping faith in your manager and Keane was the defensive rock that they needed. The last piece. With a beard.

Losses against Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Everton and [granted a poor result] QPR and they're both shit again and should go.

And I hate to go on about it again. But why are Neville and Carragher and MNF so revered? They have said nothing you wouldn't hear on MotD from Shearer and Co. Just commentating on what everyone can see; QPR passing it around, it would have been a nice goal. It just looks prettier.... and as I type this Neville is swishing Weimann up and down the pitch for no real reason. I can't wait to see what Neville Sky's production staff have picked out for us from the weekend.

We killed them tbf. Although it is funny how this run has come off the back of Lambert signing a new contract.

Neville and Carragher are probably revered in comparison to the utter dregs that are around on TV most weeks, though I would argue they are not much better.

Carragher, somebody passing a ball to somebody does not equate to a relationship - especially when said pass isn't even successful.

More often than not the people who hired them are the ones that end up sacking them.
