Considering he's been thrown in at the deep end, he's been class last few games

Yes, needs management though. We need top rotate him with Debuchy. Blood him in the games against QPR, Leicester, Burnley etc. If we had played him more instead of Chambers at RB. Maybe Chambers would be available now.

problem is he is learning on the job and it's costing us

and he'll probably be sold to citeh when he becomes established anyway <_<

That's no different to Chambers.

Bellerin was pretty poor defensively, although he was thrown under the bus by Merts and co on a couple of occasions. Like all our FBs past and present since Sansom, he leaves way to much space and then has to rely on pace to get back and cover. Obviously this is how we "train" them, so he's only fucking up as he has been told to. He's dangerous going forward though, looks more of a wide midfielder than a defender to me.

would agree with that, not yet convinced he has defensive abilities needed but looks top notch attacking from midfield

Looks a brilliant prospect. Been a lot of noise about him ever since we got him from Barca. Lets wait to see how he'll recover from his 18 month injury and reassess in 2016/7.

Does alright when wenger doesn't hang him out to dry like dortmund and stoke away.

Looks quality but as She Wore says, there's no way he's ready for the likes of Stoke or <Insert shithouse Northern team playing rugby> away.

Probably could do with bulking up and improving his defensive positioning as well. He was caught out a couple of times on Saturday.

Valuable game time for him, should have been used more frequently instead of having Monreal thrown under a bus.

If/when we get a new CB, he can be understudy to Debuchy and Chambers can develop properly as a CB. None of this square peg business.

He has done well and even if we did get a quailty CB in January he will probably be cup tied for the champions league anyways.

Looks useful going forward but defensively out of his depth. I prefer full backs who defend first attack second. But like kolo was where he used pace to get out of tricky situations or recovery tackle.

His tackling needs to improved, but he does recover well to block crosses, and it would be good if our team are more comfortable in defending set pieces.

He looks great offensively but all over the place defensively, mind you that isn't saying much at Arsenal!

He's a good prospect for sure, needs to improve defensively though.

Debuchy is quality btw, really good to see him back.

I must admit it was good to see him getting a cigar on against Newcastle. Won't get an easier game all season.
