Would have been a stroll if not for Giroud going mental and the ref being mental and giving them a non-pelanty, denying us two and refusing to send off their players for being scrotes and divers.

Can't blame Wenget for the struggle today. Good win in the end.

Giroud you absolute moran.

Sanchez and Cazorla with good performances again. The defence had nothing to do until the ref intervened.

I think he was just tired.....and understandably. The first half today was as one sided a game as you'll see so he didn't need to waste time chasing the whole length of the pitch the wrong way.

Whole team put a shift in today. Dunno why bif saw red mist but it wasn't the sort of thing he normally does. Rosicky rolled back the years. Should have been in the team far earlier in the season than this. Sanchez is just breathtaking. The boys ran their socks off.

Not sure what game the ref was watching but he's clearly a cheating cunt. Why do we always have to play against 12 men? Arsenal must be the most hated team amongst refs bar none.

Great result in spite of Giroud's stupidity, pity we had to put that sort of a shift in at this time of year, hope the guys can recover in time for Sunday.

Important win & solid performance. Alexis was on fire again, this is his team and we need to ensure he is surrounded by quality because he is use to winning trophies and he wont put up with playing for a team that doesnt challenge for them. Everyone played pretty well today, Rosicky especially was very good. Onto West Ham next.

Enertaining game, solid win and a very good performance. Cazorla and Sanchez were different class and we deserved the win.

Ro the cunt with his wobble lips should have seen a second yellow for his strangle on Giroud.

We always make it difficult for ourselves, and we have now made it difficult for the West Ham game (no Giroud and unnecessary fatigue because we failed to kill of the game!)

Good game . Good reactions from fans . Bad reaction from Giroud but we need to understand he is a human being and can't take all the shit every time.

Giroud was rash but it didn't deserve a red card. This is one of those occasions where the law is an ass, the player barely gets touched but goes down like a sack of spuds, rolls around like a fanny and knows he's going to get the player sent off. If Giroud had punched him or really properly head-butted him then fine, but he didn't. He just 'lost it' and confronted the player. Somehow in the modern game that is disgraceful and deserves a red card but falling over at the slightest contact and writhing around as though shot is fine.

Anyway, good result. QPR are awful but we had to dig in a bit when we went down to 10 men. Had to win that one with the other results.

Unfortunately we all follow a sport where brownie points are given for conning the ref. Barely any mention of the QPR player behaving like a complete faggot but several mentions of Giroud supposedly going nuts. I've yet to see another sport where it's seen as a necessity to falsely manipulate situations in order to gain an advantage.

It's quite an embarrassing sport tbh.

Giroud just wanted New Year's off so he can spend it entertaining his side chick.

Made no sense for him to lose his cool like that.

I don't know if you saw the replay where rio grabbed giroud around his neck right after? That was right in front of the ref too but but he ignored it.

He looked gutted as soon as he did it. Wasn't switched at all - should've gone down quicker than Sterling when Rio touched him. would've made it 10 v 10 and a stroll.

Good games from Alexis, Gibbs, Rosicky and Cathorrla. Welbeck, sort your life out son.

I was surprised with how Onuoha went down as by most reports (and even from a friend of mine who knows him) he's quite a decent guy and is about as unprovocative and inoffensive a centre half as Giroud will face in the prem all season.

His reaction was comical and embarrassing. A little shove in the back as if to say, how dare the likes of you put your dirty paws on me. Does he think he is Zidane/Henry??? We are in 6th position at Christmas, have a game in 2 days time in a London derby, are in total control of a game at home and you completely lose the plot for a little push in the back!??

It's not that he was stupid because of the level of force he did or didn't use, but stupid by doing something even remotely likely to get him a straight red right under the ref's nose. The referee probably would have been hauled into the committees office himself behind the scenes had he not acted.

Even Diego Costa would have had the nous to just 'remember it and get him later' rather than act out like that.

It's almost as if some professional's don't know that play acting goes on at times. FFS most of them do it themselves. Least he didn't remonstrate with the ref because he knew he got what he had coming and even Wenger himself didn't put up a defence to the decision.

Went with eldest to this. Should've scored the penalty and had them chasing the game, oh well made amends.
Giroud reaction might've been due to the clearance ball hitting as when he was down  either way shouldn't risk his good looks with a headbutt at least a knee to the plums instead :sulk:.
Rosicky, god how I missed him, direct, inventive a great ability to get into space to make him available, Sanchez and in particular Santi on his wavelength.

Oh ref useless cunt, QPR deserve to be relegated by firing squad :handbags:

I'm getting sick of hearing about refereeing mistakes, it's way past time we stop moaning on about that shit and just accepted it. Refs are corrupt.
