A pleasant defeat for the spuds followed by a turgid 0-0 and 22 red cards in the Liverpool match would be nice.

In fairness that goal is surely offside. How can you have a striker standing offside in the box, jumping for the cross but not interfering with play? Stupid rule.
But good in this instance.

How has Nobled avoided a second yellow?

Noble should be off for a second yellow. Ref bottles it. Excellent!
Vertonghen does a Matic - should be a red. Ref bottles it. Scandalous really.

Yeah but when you get pundits insisting any touch is a penalty then it makes it easy for the refs to bottle it. Any player who starts going down before he is touched should be sent off. Simple as.
The joke is, this league is still held up as being an example for all the others in terms of honesty. We don't have that in our game you know, not with the likes of Rooney, Starfish, Young, Bale and now the new "sports" icon Kane.

I thought Song was a dope and it probably was a pen.
It's not about the pen, it's about the cheating. The spuds need a goal, clock is running out, Kane charges into the box and dives. He's done it before, when he wasn't touched. He's a cheat being held up as another British mega-star.
Cunts like Carragher who apologise for this in the papers hate football, they hate sport. They love winning, they are winners. Like the big banks are winners, and the energy cartels. Undoubted winners but absolute mega cunts. Anyone who thinks cheating is part of sport is deluded. It's the opposite of sport. Cheating is part of money, that's what drives the cheating.
There's an easy way to solve the problem.
EVERY penalty should be reviewed after every match. And if any player is found to have dived without being touched they should be banned for a season. Has to be clear cut, if there's doubt then no ban. But if there's no doubt, like an Ashley Young special, the punishment has to fit the crime and cheating is the worst crime possible against sport. Teams can get relegated based on one moment of cheating. Others can win cups and titles.
Instead we get the likes of Carragher talking about the professionalism of cheating. You have to be sick in the head to come up with stuff like that.
We'll never see a solution because the money guys like cheating. It's in their nature and it spawns its own money making industry in the form of crappy pundits and halfwit media hacks.

It is when the contact impedes the player from getting to the ball and thus getting a shot away. Sure it wasn't enough for him to fall down as comically as he did and he would have been better served trying to stay on his feet and get a shot away but it's still a foul ...... and thus a pelanty.

Kevin Friend is absolutely abject.
Once again, how much have Liverpool paid for his services today?

It is when the contact impedes the player from getting to the ball and thus getting a shot away. Sure it wasn't enough for him to fall down as comically as he did and he would have been better served trying to stay on his feet and get a shot away but it's still a foul ...... and thus a pelanty.
But he didn't impede him from playing the ball. The guy's touch was so far ahead of himself (the wet pitch wouldn't have helped) he couldn't get on to it, ran across Can and fell down.

tbf that should have been a pelanty to Liverpool. Though Sky can fuck off about that being the clearest one.

Southampton 0-1 Kevin Friend.
Southampton should be ahead, nevermind the pelanty appeals denied and the bookings not given to Liverpool, which would mean half their defence was on a yellow.
It would be a DISGRACE if Southampton ended the game without any points.

Tbf, there was a lot of outrage after Eduardo and Ramsey as well. We always think the grass is greener on the other side. The real problem is that there is outrage and then people just go back to the GHEL attitude.

Richard Keys on Jamie Redknapp
So Mourinho turns up Sunday morning on Sky Sports. My first question was 'what is a highly paid BT ambassador doing on Sky?' A quick call or two later and I had the answer.
It was all pre arranged. It was a decision made at the 'highest' levels of the broadcaster and Chelsea as they tried to clear the air after recent problems between the two, started by something Jamie Redknapp said I'm told. I don't know for sure because I'm busy doing my own job when he's on air.
I can believe the suggestion though. I lost count of the times I had to calm him during the many occasions I worked with him. There's a guy at Arsenal can thank his lucky stars there was glass between him and Redknapp the night of the 4-4 v Spurs at the Emirates. Jamie lost the plot completely. He wanted to fight him. It was the last time we let him work on a game that one of his Dad's teams was playing in. He would often get too close to individuals he liked, or not, and couldn't offer objective opinions.
