Think we're missing the point here. Wouldn't it be nice to have something to cry over, other than the fact Wenger's our manager? At least they made a European final. We really have to start doing a lot better. Glorious victories over Hull and Aston Villa isn't exactly the big stage. FFS, we're celebrating finishing above the spuds. We need to make sure we don't drift into being small time, because that's the way we are heading. Liverpool have won a CL and reached a Europa final while we've been dicking around against Monaco and Red Star Latrine. Leicester City have won the PL. The gypos were tame as hell in the CL semis but it must have been fun getting there. Anyone remember our final against Barca? That's starting to seem like a long, long time ago.

But surely the fun comes from them bottling it and us NOT bottling it? Otherwise we're laughing at them for doing what we've done ourselves. I don't mean let's not laugh, because it definitely appropriate to laugh at the spuds for their epic bottle job. But let's not dwell because there are super pressing issues closer to home.

EDIT: Or maybe what I'm saying is that WUMger has sucked every last measure of enjoyment out of the game for me. That's probably it.
