Of course. He'll always be a good back up striker. Nothing more than that. This current stretch doesn't alter that.
more like very average back up striker in my opinion

I like him, when he gets on a run he can put them away and has a decent touch. But when out of form, which often lasts weeks and weeks, he can be poor. Would still have him here as a backup.

I think he can be a very good plan B, but yet again he's proven to be far too patchy to be relied on for the long haul. I think his demeanour stinks as well.

That whole team looks demoralised and mentally fragile, the only conclusion I can come to is that Wenger is showing them sex tapes of him and Sonia Tatar.

Great to see the "mass protest" against Arsene Wenger fall flat on its face.Well done to the usually "silent majority" of Arsenal fans for standing up to the bully-boys,trolls & internet warriors.Arsenal is the classiest football club in the world & it sickens me to hear & read the disgusting vitriol directed at the manager.Free speech is one thing - but the abuse directed at our manager shames the club &its supporters.

Every club has problem "fans", some don't see or appreciate how much Kroenke and Wenger are doing for us. Nobody could have predicted Leicester would win the title this season. No other club has managed to get ahead of them so it's hard to see how some fans expect us to somehow do it. They keep going on about the transfer window and £200 million in the bank and Kroenke's fees for the invaluable services he provides and Wenger's £8 million and stuff like that. With these fans it's a one-way street, take, take, take but what can you do?
My guess is they'll eventually leave and then it will just be the silent majority of proper fans who will generate the right sort of atmosphere on match day. There were 10,000 empty seats at the last match. So plenty of them staying home which is a blessed relief.

Long given up trying to reason with Wengerdrones. You haul a mountain of evidence in front of them, go through it item by item and all you get back is a sing-song about Wenger's magic hat. As the decades roll by it gets dull.

Let's just hope he doesn't sign a contract extention next year when we end trophyless again

Im no "Wengerdrone".I just don't like to see a thoroughly decent man suffer disgusting abuse from fans who think they speak for all of us.As for the magic hat - that was George Graham's.

If he does it will be at least partly thanks to the fools doing the singing over the weekend. They are all over the Internet gloating about their triumph, like turkeys celebrating the defeat of a proposal to ban Christmas.

Disgusting abuse?
One fan does not represent everyone else.
The criticism he's received is fair and warranted.

Nobody on this forum engages in or condones any form of aggressive personal abuse and most have said as much on several occasions. Justified criticism and a response in kind to the abuse Wenger is certainly not above dishing out in the direction of the fans is entirely justifiable. And it's an ever growing matter of dispute as to whether he's a decent man, by the way. I'm starting to thing devious would be a far better description. But each will have their own opinion on that.
As for the hat, Graham's, Wenger's and Bergkamp's.

Fair & warranted? I'd like a £1 for every time someone has called him a "cunt" on this website alone.

You wouldn't be wealthy, that's for sure. And I have a feeling you might be inadvertently referring to two posters who call him that as an extreme form of parodying fans who... call him a cunt. I can't imagine there's a single regular here who would scream abuse into Wenger's face. At least nobody has given the slightest indication they'd do that.

You're not listening, are you? Apart from a tiny number of examples that I have seen, people on this forum are not dishing out the type of abuse you refer to. Don't know why you have such a bee about this and why you want to push it. Go to Twitter if you want to see abuse, have a word with them.

By the way, PLENTY of people are referred to as cunts by posters on this forum - particularly myself. Plenty. Wenger? As close to never as makes no odds. He's almost the exception.
