Is this supposed to be the year we win the Calendar year championship or is it next?

Bets on:
A) Great start to the season, wobble in November/December. Pick up things again till February and then fold and die towards the end of February.
B) Shit start to the season, pick up points and get in the title race. Fold and die in February.
C) Shit start to the season, out of the title race by December, scrapping for 4th place trophy.
D) Average start to season. Out of top 4 by season end.

My bet is on C or D, though I am leaning towards D. With the managers in the PL now and with this being AW's last year on the contract, I have a feeling that this is THE season where we dont secure our 4th place trophy. We probably will win Emirates cup though, so..

A, I reckon.

And which games are you coming over for so I can put a bet on whoever we're playing? <_<

Has the Emirates cup not been cancelled this year?

If my wife has it her way, sometime in the winter (similar to this year). If I have it my way, then not till Wenger leaves, so probably in a decade or so.

At least we should be on TV that weekend then.

Liverpool fans cannot be happy with their start:
Arsenal (A)
Burnley (H)
Spurs (A)
Leicester (H)
Chelsea (A)

But their last 5 games are not too bad:
Crystal Palace (H)
Watford (A)
Southampton (H)
West Ham (A)
Middlesbrough (H)

I think that Spurs have the worst "last 5" run-in:
Leicester (A)
Arsenal (H)
West Ham (A)
Man U (H)
Hull (A)

We're screwed, frankly.

Meh. We've got to play them all. Not convinced the order matters that much.

I think it does, it's rare for anyone to be streets ahead in the home straight and as the pressure builds you could do without having tough games in the run-im

Apart from those last 4 games, it looks like a fairly decent spread to me?

Our first 2 months has Liverpool, Leicester and Chelsea. Looks like we are going to have a bunch of draws and losses to start off with.

It's the run in that worries me. If we're still in the mix do you trust our lot to get results in those games?

Sure - we might actually have some players returning from injury by then! Best time to play them...

I do like when the fixtures come out... although I do always think that the top two from last season should be the final game of the season. so the Sky hype... assuming its important could go into melt down.
