Just give us a glamour tie apart from Bayern, Barca or Dortmund. Bring it on.

i have to say, we rightly pan the old goat when he gets it wrong. But give him credit, he got it right tonight

Sevilla have a Europa League to qualify for so they'll give it up to Juve probably.

Lucas Perez's second goal came at the end of a 33-pass move. No goal in the Champions League this season has involved more passes.

Tippy-fucking-tappy .

Wenger picked a proper team and got a proper result. Only saw the second half and from what I saw the performance was okay in patches but verging on calamitous at the back, again. Will need to improve to progress much further. Alexis' free kick was the highlight. Such a shame that didn't go in. And Perez with the hat trick but he's got an uphill task to force his way into a regular starting spot.

Very good again yesterday, we dominated from start to finish. We look very strong offensively, some of our combination play is a joy to behold.

I'll have to catch the highlights. Great to hear Lucas scored a hat-trick. That's how to take an opportunity from limited starts. Should have earned his spot for the next 3 major games with that contribution.

Bayern finished 2nd, so we'll probably get them.

I really want us to get Real Madrid, we've only played them once in 20 odd years and i fancy our chances against them compared to Barca for example.

Alexis' movement is just unreal. He's completely transformed our attack, he seems to drag his markers everywhere and that leaves plenty of gaps for others to run in to.

Needs to stop giving the ball away in dangerous areas but yeah his ball distribution is very good

The opposite of Giroud. No idea why it took so long for Wenger to figure this out. Even before Alexis and when we battered Utd last season, it should have been a clue that we needed a more mobile forward. But he went back to playing Giroud.

If we lose Alexis, we'd have to try and convert a winger into a striker. Perez was a winger before turning striker last season.

I would say that an optimal front free for us could be Perez, Sanchez and Walcott because you have Sanchez who creates the space and you have Perez and Walcott who can play both up front and on the wing and creates the interchangeable front three system that i think Wenger has been wanting to play.

Could be an issue defensively at times but that's what a squad is for, rotation.
