Do you think we would win? I have a feeling we will draw a top club away.

Yep, assuming we face Southampton I can't see us progressing regardless of what team we put out.

Where is the Norwich Southampton replay? Carrow Road?

We can only hope we get Norwich in this scenario

:haha:

Knocked out by Southampton. FA cup is out of the window.. now the only realistic target is the Champions league. :haha:

Not the bloody Saints again.

Come on Norwich.

Will need to play our strongest team against Saints, no messing about.

Niall_Quinn

Whichever one it ends up being, Wenger needs to take it seriously or we'll be out. We can't play like we did against Preston and hope to get a result.

Certainly sorted out that home-draws-for-Arsenal issue everyone was whining about last year, haven't they...?

Saints away is a terrible draw if they get through.

We should be able to beat either team, but the last few years have just made us all skeptical.

The last few years in which we won this competition twice?

Southampton away is a certain defeat.

Best thing I think, then we can concentrate on scraping into the top 4.

We will only have the PL to play in, as we will be out of the other two very soon.

The only thing I'd say about Southampton is they do have an extra three games before they play us, assuming they do get through.

Just sick of playing them though.

Yes, they have the semis of the League cup.

We really are fucked if we can't go into this confident of beating Southampton or Norwich. If Preston wasn't a wake-up call then there's no point being in this cup anyway.

well we respond to wake up calls about as well as Ariel Sharon responded to any form of physical stimuli in the last eight years of his life.

Theo needs to call a secret meeting. That should do it.

If anyone can find Theo. Where did he go?

It's not just about the FA cup is it? It's only managing a draw with Boro, scrapping a one at Burnley with a fluky goal. Going 3 nil down to Bournemouth, and that's just this year. Already lost to saints in the League cup and struggled against them in the league. That's why a lot of us are a bit skeptical about winning, because we make hard work of it all.

I can cherry pick good results too if you like. Our form is worrying me but unless this is your first season watching football you surely know that feelings change over a season, win a few games and things will feel better.
It is pretty silly to talk about the last few seasons being evidence we won't win the Cup when we have won it twice in those seasons.

I don't think I have said we won't win the cup! It was everybody's reaction, not great and easy tie, because we have struggled this season with those matches as well as in the past. And it's not just about the cup, it's about our performances.

Southampton it is. After a 92nd minute goal to overcome Norwich.
