The combination of Wenger's mutterings and the fake news journo whores who will do anything for a story means nothing at all can be trusted. That's why Wenger should talk directly to the fans. If he wants to rescue anything from this season he needs to, apart from getting his shit together, find a reliable way to communicate with the fans. If he really thinks the media has turned fans against him then bypass the media. There are many ways to do it now. Somehow I doubt he'll choose any of them because the reality is the media gives him far more protection than grief. They are still treating him as a credible manager, for example, when plainly he isn't.

Ramsey was all over the shop too. But we did defend across the pitch today, we even defended the flanks and tried to stop crosses coming in. I wonder if there's any correlation between defending properly and keeping clean sheets?
