Bristol City at home tbh.

Wouldn't mind pubbing our way to the semis with some decent fixtures tbh.

Thank fuck we werent live on TV tonight. Would have been endless memes and vines from some of the load of crap on offer tonight.

We can be so frustrating to watch. This whole one twos around the edge of the box or playing little passes in tight spaces makes you go mad. We're trying to walk the ball in the net against doncaster

When you catch sight of goal just fucking shoot! Wilshere is infuriating in that sense, constantly looking to pass it... fucking belt it!

Was anyone else disappointed with nelson? The way our fans were hyping him I was expecting the next ronaldo... didn't impress me tonight. And that da silva... he was shite. Hope we don't see him in an arsenal shirt again.

Nelson isn't a defender, Maitland Niles isn't a LWB and Dasilva is not a LCB tbh.

It's harsh to judge them when Wenger seems insistent on playing them out of position.

Caution with judging any player in this Wenger shit show. Youngsters are meant to come in and try to take their big chance in a team filled with hungry competition. Joining a ballet of prancing tippy tapsters who are about as hungry as Mr Creosote? There's no pressure coming from anywhere to make a youngster step up. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Wenger sent them out with instructions to conserve energy and avoid injury. He doesn't take these games seriously and it doesn't dawn on him that momentum requires consistency.

Was disappointed Elneny didn't get a go in goal tonight. As well he can play there as well you know.

27 shots, just a third of them in target. Not good enough, even disgusting.

I didn't think much of Nelson either. He was too scared to take any risks when he was in good positions and he doesn't look all that great technically either. Worst of all there were one or two times when he thought 'nah can't be bothered to track back'.

Either overhyped or playing in the wrong position has effected his confidence. We've seen this before and it's the same thing I've said on here about Ox and Theo. If we continue to play this kid in the wrong position until his mid 20s and he still looks unconvincing as wing back, it will take some work to get him back playing with confidence because his natural position becomes unnatural. Nobody will give him the time of day to start over.

Couldn't believe he was played right wing back!

Hardly any of our young players seem to have a position when they first come into the team, their starting point is always as a utility man. I understand the theory of learning some positional responsibility but in practice I’m not sure it’s that relevant. If Nelson is as talented as he’s thought to be, then he surely he should be played where that talent can flourish?

Why not? Isn't it normal for Wenger to do this sort of shit? Wenger claims he does this to slowly progress players to their ideal position. He has strikers "learn the ropes" (a euphemism for wasting their talent) on the wing, so why not stick a winger in defence for a laugh? We've always had winger/ wing-back/ full-back types who end up being mediocre jack-of-all-trade types rather than specialists. Like Clichy, Gibbs. There are rare talents who can handle it, like Cole, but I wonder if even he would have survived Wenger's latest techniques?

I don't know what else can be said about it other than the obvious statement there will be no progress for anyone until Wenger leaves. He's fucking around with Alexis now, which is so incredibly stupid considering we kept him and ate his transfer fee, he's fucking around with Lacazette, he's sent Ozil off into the wilderness with some pretended minor injury. He was doing that ridiculous thing with Elneny pre-season and has fucked around with the CBs and defence in general at every opportunity. He's like the handicap we have to overcome before we step onto a pitch. He has to be gone before anything makes sense, let alone starts to take shape.
