Draw is supposed to be after Brizzle v Man United so I guess at about 10pm GMT.

I can't seem to find the draw numbers so I'll just make them up for now.

1. Arsenal
2. Manchester City
3. Bristol City
4. Chelsea

The Carabao Cup Semi-final ties will take place over two legs, with the first matches scheduled to be played the week commencing 8th January and the reverse fixtures the week commencing 22nd January.

If we get Bristol City in the semis and in the final we can win this.

I’m actually worried that this will be like the fa Cup last season

We are never beating City

We are never beating Chelsea

It’s horrible, shouldn’t be thinking at possible up sides of defeat.

To quote David Cameron  “for heaven’s sake man....Go!”

On the other hand, where does he draw the line on shame? Would he really stay on if all he won was the Curryboo Cup? The one we have to worry about is the Europa. "European triumph" might lead him to a whole new lease of life, and we know who he'd be eager to spend that whole new life with - us, his captives in the basement.

Been to three European finals in his career and lost all of them, not worried about that to be honest

Difficult to see us beating either Manc team over 2 legs. Chelsea I think we could take if we played a strong team.

But for now at least, come on Bournemouth and Bristol.

We have to hope Chelsea win this if (as is likely) we fail to progress.

That's a very sobering thought this Christmas time.

I watched some of the Bristol City v Man United game tonight and I was really impressed with Bristol City. If we face them in the Semi's and we put out the same team as last night they would knock us out IMO.

I'm gonna a make a little prediction here.

We'll lose.

City will win.

City will win the final.

Now don't blame me if you put money on it and you lose out. It's by no means a certainty. This is football, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!

Unless the whole thing's bent and Wenger's senile.

Arsenal have lost their last four League Cup games against Chelsea and haven't won a tie between the two since 1976 (they won first leg of 1998 SF 2-1 but lost second 3-1).

So we need to beat the chavs and the gypos to win it?

No chance whatsoever. A one off game, maybe. Three games? Nope.

Same shit's going to happen in Europa now the bigger teams have entered.

So drawing Kettering, Croydon and Swindon in the FA Cup is now our best route to glory.

Don’t see any reason why we can’t beat them 0-0 over 2 legs.

We beat them both in the real cup last year.

Precisely. How likely is it to happen again?

Didn’t count. Pep’s transitional season and Chelsea couldn’t be bothered after winning the league.

We've only lost once in our last 5 meetings against Chelsea

It's ours

We have beaten both City and Chelsea in neutral venus a few times over the years (FA cup and community shield) so i think we can do it again but we need to make sure we dont get proper fucked in the firs leg to stand any chance of progressing.

I agree. Also, it's the Cumberbach Cup so I don't care

Neutral venues arguably at times when both sides weren't at their best for one reason or another, morevover this isn't a neutral venue. Chelsea aren't all that, but based on what we've seen they're better than us.

Over one leg anything can happen, lesser sides beat superior teams all the time, but over two legs forget it.

I think our only chance of beating Chelsea over 2 legs is to play our proper first team in both games.

If Wenger screws around with the team which I'm sure he will I don't think we will progress.
