I'm confident on this one.

Confident we'll lose and lose well.

I miss Syn :(

Giroud out of this, shame really, he usually does well against them and has done okay off the bench this season.

This could go two ways, we could bully them like we did Spurs or we could start slow like we did against Man ure and be 2-0 down early on. They have a lot of attacking talent, should be a tough one.

Huge job keeping that attack out but Liverpool strike me as flat track bullies. The top sides have all managed to contain them and in some cases dish out a spanking of their own.

Think we might nick this. 2-1.

No doubt we’ll need to approach with caution though given they’ve scored at least 3 against us in all of the meetings since Klopp has been there.

Since the start of the century we haven’t gone more than five league games without a win over this lot

The longest period we went without winning against them was just over three years between November 2006 and December 2009

Wouldn't raise an eyebrow with me if we lost 4-0 and made the same mistakes as in the first match.

I'd say they're the opposite of that.

Always up for the big games and good record against top sides but poor against the lower teams.

Not this season at least. City and Spurs hammered them and United and Chelsea frustrated them. Even Neverton got a result.

Of course we rolled over and died in August but that was just as much to do with poor preparation as it was their attacking strength.

Last season yes

This season no...we are the only “top six” side they’ve beaten. They got bummed by city and spurs. Couldn’t hold on to lead against Chelsea, couldn’t break down United.

But away from home against Leicester, Bournemouth, West Ham, Brighton, Stoke.....they scored 19 goals

Should be 3 points then

Arsenal are going to have to score 2 or maybe 3 goals just to get a draw.

I just cannot see it, its a certain loss.

If we play like we have most of the season, won’t get any better than a draw

Play like we did against Spurs and I think we will win.

Wenger should be sacked because the fans have to wonder if we'll turn up. How is that acceptable?

Will we be properly prepared? Will the team selection be sane? Will players be playing in their best positions? Will we start with conviction? Will we give 100%? Will we defend properly? These are the questions we have to ask before every game now, and it's becoming normal. As if it is acceptable and part and parcel of the process.

It can be translated. We could ask, will our 10 mill a year manager do his job? or not? And if we have to ask that he should be sacked.

I usually call for him to leave after the game. Today I'm calling for him to leave before the game.

Get out!

You will be asking him to leave after the game as well, we all will.

I agree with what you said there though.

I just cannot see Arsenal getting a draw, so a loss is certain.

This game is going to be really uncomfortable viewing IMO. Liverpool are the 2nd best attacking team in PL and are going to cause our defence no end of problems. They are suspect at the back and questionable in Midfield so are in some ways built like us but their attack is pretty clinical and has a lot of pace. We’ll lose 3-2, I simply cannot see us outscoring them.

Its a good result if you consider that Arsenal were 2-0 down but a poor result when you think that Arsenal were 3-2 up, although there was still at least 30 minutes to go then.

I said on here that Arsenal would need to score at least 2 and maybe 3 goals just to get a draw, and they did get 3 goals from 2-0 down so there is credit there but they should not have been 2-0 down in the first place.

Both teams can score but cannot defend so are not good enough.

Wenger needs to do something about the defence with Mert retiring and Kos and Monreal both about 32 years old, but he probably won't.

I could not get excited even when Ozil scored to make it 3-2, I knew what was coming.

Wenger has to go but I doubt he will for a few years yet which is beyond belief and defies the limit of basic human understanding.
