We’ll show a lot of early energy and enthusiasm, which will hopefully offset some of the teething problems I’m expecting us to have (as we bed in new players, adapt to new tactics and harder training, and work out our best XI/s), but I don’t think we’ll really see us starting to look completely comfortable and polished until the second half of the season, so I’ll be looking more for increased effort, better attitude, a greatly reduced points gap and a strong finish then exact finishing positions and silverware.

I also think that at least one of Man U, Chelsea or spurs will have a nightmare season this year (for different reasons).

In the league I hoped for a top 4 challenge. I suppose one could argue we got that but there were so many doors left open - held open, really - by Spurs that it's frankly pathetic we have failed to walk through any of them.
