Hopefully our start isn't as stupid as it was last year.

An apparent leak says we’re playing away to Palace first.

In the first 7 games we have Liverpool, spurs and Utd - but it’s not necessarily the games against the big teams that we need to worry about anymore.

Newcastle and Burnley to start. Not bad.

Then it’s the annual drubbing at Anfield followed by Spurs.

Should be a fun start to the season.

I always pay more attention to the run in. I remember before last season thinking "Looks pretty decent, if we're still in the mix for top 4 at that stage then we've got enough easy games in the run in that we should be OK".

Me :pal:

Spurs (A)
Liverpool (H)
Villa (A)
Watford (H)

Not ideal although the last 2 are OK.

If we don't get rid of the deadwood and improve our squad we may be in for a difficult start like last season. We'll see what happens in the summer, but so far the names banded about don't exactly fill me with confidence.

Xhaka saying he's not leaving is a bad start to the summer that's for sure.

Forgot that Amazon are showing games for the next few years. All of the Boxing Day games and another round at some point around Xmas. What a shit show.

I was talking about that with Mrs FY.. we might just stop over in London for a couple of days and tour the stadium with the baby rather than go to the game. It'll be cold and I dont think a 2 month old baby would enjoy the silence of Emirates with the cold of London. I'll give you all a heads up and may be we can catch up somewhere where a stroller is allowed!

And yes, stadium tour definitely safer.
