I don’t know what this team is, what direction we are going and my god, our play is listless, bland and discombobulated.

Player for player, we are better than under Wenger, but the football is worse.

I don’t need us to win trophies, but the odd bit of entertainment would be nice. But there is none, nor is there any prospect of it.

Our football is painful to watch. If I wasn’t invested in Arsenal, I wouldn’t watch us play even if the match was in my back garden.

I'd say the "boring boring Arsenal" days were worse to watch on average, but there's a huge delta between how good this team should be - looking at the players we have now - and how good they actually are.
That's what makes it so painful.
