Verdasco dispatches Ole again.

Great win finally away at home to these dicks in the league.

Pogba. :haha:

Partey, Gabriel, Elneny, Tierney and Holding all brilliant.

Gabriel and Partey have been great signings.

Gabriel, Tierney, El neny, Holding, were massive today but Partey is a sheer colossus. i wouldn't have believed if i wasn't there to see it

Solid and organised, zero entertainment. Which is an improvement.

Twice I've seen Utd this season and they have more than earned their current place in the table.

Gabriel and Partey have been great signings.

they were both great, also thought Holding did well enough to keep his place in the side, same with Elneny

Done a number on them good and proper, it was actually fairly comfortable I thought. United didn’t really have much about them to really stretch us. As boring as we’ve been, being now able to keep our shape and defend properly will see us pick up some better results than we were previously capable of. Though likewise we will probably still see results like the Leicester one.

Glad to finally have this no away win against the top 6 stat done with though.

On we go.

Gabriel and Partey are brilliant signings, massive upgrades for the team. Big shout to Mo Elneny as well, seems to be growing in confidence under Arteta and should keep his place.

Great job today, really proud of Arteta for the team selections. Knew this was not a game for Xhaka or Ceballos. And Elneny proved him right

This never gets old. A classic alongside the Tottenham one where they claimed to have overtaken us

There's never a game for Xhaka

Would like to see Elneny and Partey given a run of games together, it was the best midfield performance I’ve seen from us in a long time. Makes a nice change to constantly seeing it bypassed.

Elneny, eh?

Who saw that coming? He would have been the first name on the list of deadwood to ship out.

He's quite limited really, offers nothing going forward, but his workrate and accurate passing have been crucial.

i always thought he was better than people said, always very tidy and his performances for Egypt showed he could go forward and create and score goals.

i suspect in the past he's been following orders to play defensively but he's finally getting a chance to grow at Arsenal and it's great he's doing well, a bit like buying a new player but doesn't cost us any more money :)

He offered a lot going forward yesterday.. I thought he was the MOTM for us after Pogba.

It was also one of the most inept performances you're likely to see from the opposition midfield. We'll see how it goes in the next game, and the one after that.

True but it was nice to see some competence for once.

I wouldn’t be totally shocked if we cocked it up against Villa this weekend. So we’ll soon see if this result has any profound meaning to it going forward.

I found them more sour than bitter tbh. I think they've moved past bitter because they realise how shit they are. It's starting to sound a bit like a mild version of the Wenger war over there. Four more years for Ole please.

Saw the highlights last night - my stream was all over the shop in the second half.
(By the way, 3rd on MoTD 2. Man Utd vs Arsenal. Shows what an irrelevance we have both become :( )
Anyway, Pogba
Footballers are such morans sometimes, why would you dive in like that? Belerin was going nowhere.
Wonder whether we'd have scored otherwise, we are toothless up front.

tbf i think MOTD counts the goals in any game and puts them in that order

as fro your last point i said during the game we ought to have had AMN at LWB and Saka on the left of a front three with AUBA IN THE FUCKING MIDDLE and Pepe on the right

until Arteta does this instead of playing relatively poor players like Willian and Laca we will never be effective.

Very happy with the result against Man U, we really needed it. We were very good defensively (albeit against a rather toothless Man U side) and better offensively though I still think we struggled to really create great chances.

Man U seem to be really hot and cold, they've been terrible in the league but yet seem to turn it on the CL (not last night lol).

I feel sorry for Ole. He's a good manager, from my point of view. All he needs is a few more years to build the sort of squad Utd deserve. 10-15 years should do it.

Yeah he's top notch, hope he stays for many years.
