Yes, it might not do us harm. It’s always a bit of a distraction and while it’s more credible that we could win the Europa League than the CL, we probably aren’t actually going to so might as well focus on domestic things.

Whatever, i can see the logic too, but the spuds fans will love having kept us out of Europe for the first time in 25 years or whatever, that's what hurts
