He's one of those players that improves with age, too. He seems as fit as ever. If he plays higher up the pitch for PSG, he'll probably be getting loads of +1s like he did at PSV and Newcastle.

Doesn't Curtis Jones have a similar all-round game? He's always looked impressive in most games I've seen him play. Might not be a huge loss if Klopp gives him a chance more regularly.

it's really obvious our group is the lowest quality in the tournament - we've pubbed a 1-0 win aginst a very poor Croat side and couldn't beat an above-average but still not great Scotland side.

Gosens with the performance of the tournament. Absolutely destroyed Portugal.

It's good to see a game where a team's dominance is rewarded, although it should be even more.

Portugal always play the same way and it looked like they were going to pub another victory, but Germany have been excellent since the first minute.
