I think it speaks absolute volumes about the state of this club that we have something like 30 senior players on the books and yet still had to name 3 RBs on the bench just to make a full match day squad (on game one of the season no less)!

And then, when we actually needed to replace our starting RB, we brought on a LB!

Just think about those two things for a second… it tells us 1) that the manager clearly doesn’t rate or trust any of those 3 RBs, and 2) that the players that didn’t even make the bench must be even worse in his eyes!

Honestly, at this point I’m not really fussed what happens to Arteta, but for fuck sake either back him or sack him! If he’s the man the owners want then write off the crap and give him the resources he needs to the job his way. Otherwise bring someone in who can work with the players we have. This nothingy, non-commital, in between limbo isn’t working though.
