I dunno, I have seen Liverpool a lot better than this. I agree they have pressed us into making lots of mistakes but we have kind of run out of any ideas that we had first half. It's the routine thrashing we receive up there now.

Half time I was thinking “fair enough”. Let’s face it, they’re better than us.
But it is disappointing to have to spanked like this, I thought we’d progressed a bit from that sort of thing. Always a dead rubber for me but the scale of the defeat is worrying.

I think these stats are why I just don’t really believe in what Arteta is trying to do here. If you scratch below the surface I think we’re just an ordinary team getting by on the bare minimum.

It’s pretty damning, but results have been pretty much ok.
Today was expected but I was hoping to make more of a game of it.
As Gary said the next test is how we respond. Especially the Old Trafford game. We need to go and get something there. But they could well be in the new manager glow by then.

For me it’s about finding a sustainable way of playing and I think we’re extremely limited in what we’re capable of. I remember we went on a very long run unbeaten with Emery but we were conceding so many chances per game that it just became inevitable when things would unravel.

Don’t think it’s too dissimilar to what’s been happening under Arteta because it’s never been convincing to me regardless of results.
