McNamara That Ghost...

Utterly chaotic.

Simple once it went to 3-1 though.

Difficult to pull out any standout performers!

On we go.

Fantastic result! Not an overly convincing performance but we got the job done.

On to West Ham.

Close run between Ramsdale and B Fernandes for MOTM. Ill give it to Ramsdale by a nose

The penalty miss should have been the turning point, but we continued to conspire to give Manure hope through utterly shambolic play.

Consequently, the real turning point resulted from Ramsdale’s save on to the post.

Ramsdale MOTM for me.

Chaotic, defending poor, too many times caught in possession. Very hard to watch, but will take the result all day long. Tomiyasu MOTM

Horrible stuff at times, they battered us in periods. We were very clinical though and that is the requirement for a top 4 challenge.

West Ham next, another big and tough game.

Rio I think is going to kill himself hopefully, he's that upset.

Played shit but won convincingly in the end. They used to do it to us all the time under Ferguson, so it's in some way more satisfying than a routine 2-0.

While we have our first-choice full-backs and Partey out, we have to accept that it'll be chaotic at times defensively. Although, the attack has clicked again.

Odegaard, Xhaka and Elneny were excellent. Saka hugely influential as always.

Fernandes :haha:.

Fergie :haha:.

Gary Neville :haha:.

Manchester United :haha:.

Prior to the last set of five games, if you knew we were about to take six points off Chelsea and United, even despite our capacity to disappoint, you’d have been confident of CL qualification.

Now, with hindsight, it is clear how threadbare Arsenal are now.

If we don’t qualify for CL football, we’ll need to significantly strengthen in depth if we are to make a serious run at the Europa League as well as a maintain a challenge for the top four.

If we do qualify for the CL, we will need major surgery if we plan to get out of the early stages whilst maintaining a top four spot.

Either way - we have a very challenging time ahead.

I hate to say it, but I kind of like Rio.

McManaman on the other hand…

You can’t get rid of Rio! He’s absolute gold for big talk coming back to bite him in the ass!

Mcmanaman can burn.

Pretty shit.
Three points more important.
Probably won't get fourth. Just need to avoid the Europa Conference League.

Nervy match could have gone either way and for a change we got a run of the green, hopefully Tomi is fit enough to play from the start with maybe Cedric going to left back or Holding in a back 3 Tavarez is a liability in defense and will cost us goals and possibly points if he's picked from the start. Hopefully Saka's injury isn't too bad and he's able to play next week.

Think you're all being a bit harsh, we played pretty well but both our FBs were badly inconsistent

Odegaard and Elneny were particularly good, overall a deserved win and the Spuds result was a big red cherry on top

A rare truth on this forum. He really fucking is.

At least he's a man. Plenty wrong with Keane, like all of us, but not in the areas that matter. Don't get me wrong, I used to choke on my own spit every time the bloke touched the ball in those heady days when competition meant just that. That was the fun part. Without Keane how could we have revelled in Keane vs Vieira? Two men. Very much missing from the modern game. Bunch of pansies now.

There has been nothing to match that rivalry since.

I look forward to old age and senility so I can live through it again and again.
