Neither right now - in realistic terms spending over 400 pounds is far too much. For one, we don't know how much the games will cost and for another, I've never spent more than £240 on a console. :lol:

A lack of surprises really, although Nintendo tend to reveal stuff at regular intervals now rather than showing it all at E3.

Mario Kart 8 was probably the most impressive visually out of the big 3. Smash Bros. looks too similar to Brawl at the moment, but it's probably not out until Christmas 2014 and they'll likely reveal it bit by bit like they've done in the past.

It all seems a little silly. Not to mention that it's all a side issue from actual games. The conspiracy theorist in me would wonder whether the camera/microphone were ever actually off, even if it said it was.

It doesn't really make any sense because they say you can play games at a friends house so long as you're signed in to your profile. If that's the case then why would they have it that you're restricted from er....playing games on your profile at home.

It would be extremely hard to sell this to anyone new to console buying, even those with brand loyalties probably think it's not worth jumping through hoops to play a few game that are exlusive...and pay a lot more for the privilege.

Also, given that the PS4 will be subscription based for online play, you would think that means there isn't such a discrepancy as there is now between download times and reliability for online play, so that's another plus point MS would lose out on.

with the ps4 coming out, is it worth getting a ps3? will they stop making ps3 games? im not sure how it works.

I think games will still be made for it at least for most of next year. It'll probably be 2015 when it is phased out.

PS4 will be out in November or December presumably.

GTA V is not scheduled to come out on the Xbox One or PS4 yet, it will for PS3 and Xbox 360 though.

I don't know why but I couldn't quite get into GTA IV, I enjoyed it to an extent but I was relieved when I finished it.

I think the previous games had a charm about them which was somehow lost when the next gen kicked in.

It's not quite like that, like the tedious investigations to set things up but there are a lot of glitches (maybe because of the size of it) and they keep putting extras in that aren't much fun - the lockpicking of chests is horrendous. Instead of idiots with lutes you get begging kids but unlike on that one you can't give them a good smack. :whistle:

Longest intro for a game I think there has ever been too.

Having said all that, it still has the storyline, which I think is still worth putting up with all the other rubbish for, given I believe this actually gives some resolution to Desmond's story (only on Sequence 6 out of 12 myself).

There's a full area map on the gamepad, which is quite nice.

Forts really is crap. Actually, I don't think Worms has really been any good when it hasn't been the 2D version we know.

Been playing Plants versus Zombies 2. Shameful cash grab sadly. Its free to play but you have to replay levels over and over to get keys/stars to progress or you can buy your way to the next zones.

Rayman Origins was fucking awesome. The music was great too. Really looking forward to this.
