Another possible tricky away day.

Hopefully we find some composure again and don’t make a meal of this one.

Partey should be back.

Everton and Brentford we struggled against because of the deep block (we really need Jesus back)

City as far as I’m concerned that was psychological

But you have raised the point about defensive weakness, and going forward Leicester are decent and they gave United trouble before Rashford scored and blew Spurs away. It’s going to be a hard game, in the race for top four a draw would be a good result but we need to win to keep any chance of the title going.

Be interesting who starts between Jorginho and Partey.

If Partey is fit, he should start....this game might be too much for Jorginho as I can see the Leicester midfield blowing us apart.

Hard to tell which Leicester midfield will turn up. Admittedly the last time I watched Leicester play was Boxing Day but Newcastle just absolutely blew them away with pace.

We've tried to bring Partey back too soon before and it just crocks him for longer, I'd say go with Jorginho

that's my worry, we have played fairly well but our final ball is generally poor and Trossard had the only clear chance

too many touches by Zin, Xhaka and also Martinelli tbf - we need more one-touch stuff and greater directness

White was silly in the goal incident, he gave them a reason to cancel it out and tbh if it wer the other way round I'd have though it shoudl be cancelled out too

Jorginho has played really well again though

in teh second half we need Vieira or ESR instead of Xhaka and then Tierney at some stage

Xhaka Can’t

Sideways and backwards passing creeping into our game.

We’ve been on top, but just can’t seem to find that bit of space or final pass to finish off a move. Other than the disallowed goal, we’ve put nothing on or even near target.

Strange game really ...we've really battered them but as usual our final balls have let us down.

Playing Trossard and Martinelli has been great for the attack and movement but Martinelli is really off the boil when jt comes to finishing. He's making his case more and more dificult.

Saka too has been below par, which is more worrying as he is far above all our attacking players.

I really have to say Trossard looks the most likely to score and though I have enjoyed this game without Eddie...I think he'll need to come on if we're still chasing it with 30mins to go.

A good game, but the usual suspects and passengers still letting us down with their averageness.

Sometimes I wonder why Odegaard can't be more direct and take a game like this..anyway lets see what the next half has to offer.

Oh BTW Leicester's attack looks able to score too, so we definitely need to cutout the cockups at the back..as we're our own worst enemy there.

Bullshit

Correct.
Even if there was a foul - and it was soft, at best - the ‘keeper was up and in position at the time of the shot. It had no bearing on the shot going in. VAR is getting increasingly hard to defend. I still think the principle of it is right but the way it’s being implemented is nonsensical

Our next 5 games:

Everton H
Bournemouth H
Fulham A
Crystal Palace H
Leeds H

Pretty kind it has to be said. If we’re not still top by the end of this run it would be very disappointing.

How could we be behind them? Unless you’re saying we’ll still have played less games?

So long as we’re on same games played at the end of your sequence of results, they can’t be ahead of us

Weren't they ahead of us on GD a few days ago having played a game less

But also they rule the goal out for very minor Contact yet when Saka is rugby tackled in the penalty area, they dont get involved. It’s the sheer inconsistency that drives people mad

We'd be ahead by a point, if you think they'll win all four of theirs.

Something they haven't done all season long I'd point out.

Fulham away is probably the hardest game on tbat list, by league position if nothing else, that's the danger game, plus Dyke's lot will park the bus and kick Saka all over the pitch
