But we are five points in front of City and you’re not telling me they don’t have a vastly better squad than us

The goal difference is interesting because they’ve won a lot of games by the odd goal but like today been on the receiving ends of battering (4-0 to Brentford, 6-3 against City)

But given the start to the season they had plus the toxic dressing room atmosphere created by Ronaldo they haven’t done too badly. And today is a moon crater size aberration in the overall form they’ve shown post World Cup (beating city, winning a trophy, knocking Barcelona out of Europe)

Don’t get me wrong I don’t see us losing 7-0 to Liverpool. But when we need to win there arguably……we really need to examine what United got so wrong after a fairly decent first half (especially given we are not exactly playing well defensively)
