Interesting that Liverpool have some of the best attacking options in the league yet have had two shots on target in 70 minutes.

Despite the controversy over hand ball decisions, this one seems pretty clear cut

Not a massive surprise, after two straight defeats they were going to give someone a walloping

Also 1-0 to Newcastle against Palace - Murphy
And 1-0 to Bournemouth against Wolves - Solanke

Brentford ahead against Burnley - Wissa
The only game without a goal is Forest-Luton. And so far this weekend, it’s advantage to the home side

Newcastle add two more very quickly through Gordon and Longstaff (would be a good porn name)

Wolves take lead against ten man Bournemouth
Bournemouth seem like they are going to try to prevent all three promoted sides being relegated for the first time since 1997-1998

In the only game of the day. Villa are 2-1 up at home to the Ammers who have won their last three matches at Villa Park and have not lost to Villa since 2015.
Douglas Luiz x 2 (one from the spot) and Bowen pulling one back. Over half hour to play…could be interesting

4-1 to Villa now, Watkins and Bailey
They’ve scored five more goals than us this season, but then they’ve scored four more than City

Palace away, Chelsea home, Wolves away, Villa home, City away, West Ham home, Newcastle home
If they are still top after those seven games I’ll be worried
Marc Overmars

To be honest I see them winning most of those games apart from City.
Title talk is too early but they’re clearly a very different proposition now and with nothing else to play for they’ll fancy the top 4 at least.

Dunno
I think we outplayed them at home and should have beaten them comfortably, needed Liverpool to be down to nine men to beat them. United are shit, Brentford are shit this season and they couldn’t beat them.
So other than that they’ve beaten the three promoted sides, Bournemouth and Fulham. Don’t get me wrong…they’ve started ok…but they have largely won games you’d expect them to. Even before they went down to ten men they were rubbish against Luton, and even Crocodile Greeky has said he’s concerned about them not taking chances. Son has scored seven goals this season…Richarlison looks like he’s got Vietnam PTSD and Kulusevski is a good player but wasteful. Without Son’s goals there isn’t a consistent goal threat.
Their defence is no better than ok, goalkeeper average. I think they'll be found out

Some club needs to put their hand up and sacrifice a player to take him well and truly out
I always thought that would have been the best use for Xhaka tbh - just point him at Kane or Son in an NLD and tell him to give them a season-long injury - we'd have lost Xhaka for a few weeks or months but frankly who'd have cared?
