Easy to lose track of which team is the shittest in the league, a fortnight ago it was Sheffield United, now they are tied with these guys who have not yet managed a single point at home so far.
We are getting a real injury pile up, so it’s quite fortuitous that this game should be a relatively easy three points and it comes before a two week break.
Ramsdale
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
Jorginho Rice
Vieira
Trossard Martinelli Nelson

Should be a comfortable win if we apply ourselves correctly. Any dropped points here would be a shocker.
3-0.

I'd bring in Kiwior for Gabriel or Saliba to rotate a bit, probably Gabriel
I'd also rest Martinelli and have a front three of Vieira Trossard Nelson - I'd give the same role to Havertz as against Sevilla, yes he's shite but against Burnley it ought to be enough

Wouldn’t play Vieira up front. Nothing suggests he’s able to play there

except his very good performance in that position against Monaco pre-season... ;)
yes ok it was 'just' a friendly but he was very good and showed he can do a job there - it's true I'd prefer him in the Odegaard position but our need to rest Martinelli is greater I think

Just play Havertz there then, I’d trust him more up front than in midfield.

Why would you want to rotate when a 2 week international break is imminent? Or are you a secret Brazilian??

No white otherwise same team as against Sevilla

Martinelli with chance to use explosive pace passes into congested centre (not for first time)

Much better, especially from mandela’s favourite player

The ineptitude of teams at set pieces at this level never ceases to amaze me

Who is watching it on the TV and on what channel?
Nova Sports 4 with Greek Commentary for me.
I know it's not on the 2 English ones.

How are you watching that? I never know how to access streams of games.

Trossard has scored but his shoulder has collided with the post and he is having treatment.

See I thought that was his head. Shows what I know. Have to say decent performance so far. Trossard, Saka, Rice and Tomi the stand out players

I think it was his arm not his shoulder, but he is OK anyway.

It's truly shocking, although when you've Havertz as your target man you're not going to score anyway

A deserved lead at HT but would like to see Vieira and Nelson get decent minutes in this game

How Arteta cannot see that playing Havertz is basically playing 10 men and making everyone work harder just beats my imagination.
Great goal by Trossard which should only encourage Eddie to work harder.

Honestly Win has made more of a positive impact this season than Havertz.
I doubt dog food all season will total £65 million either.

So I thought the performance was ok/good. And I have to say Burnley are a better team than their league position. Not as physical/cynical as they were under throat cancer boy. I like that we didn’t panic when they got an equaliser and I can’t really fault anyone’s performance. Havertz possibly but he was just normal shit rather than stand out shit
