" trying to cancel tennis star Novak Djokovic"

what does that even mean?

how do you 'cancel' someone?

and if anyone knows can we try it with some of the people on here?*

*one gold credit star will be awarded to the first person who says - "yes, starting with you"

A million in a million coincidence.

Correct. It's a million in a million chance that someone will die.

Correct. It's a million in a million chance that someone will die.

Ah yes. That covers it all. No need to ask any questions at all, about anything. Because, in the end, we have inevitability.

Or:

life = death THEREFORE evil = acceptable.

And I won't have a word said against my stock portfolio.

Djokovic is out!

Good, about time we see a new generation of tennis players emerge. Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz seem to be the ones most likely to emerge

First Australian open men’s final since 2005 not to feature one of Djokovic, Nadal or Federer…shows the degree to which this trio has dominated the sport.

Sinner only dropped serve twice in this tournament, but has dropped serve here…Medvedev agressive on Sinner’s second serve and Sinner couldn’t get a first serve in….nerves

Sinner drops serve again and Medvedev wins the first set 6-3.

Sinner a break down in second set, he’s done…Medvedev played well but Sinner struggling with first serve and simply can’t deal with nerves, on the occasion.

So Sinner has got his shit together and has come from two sets down to level the match.

Sinner turned this around and is one hold of serve away from his first grand slam.

Medvedev losing another Slam final from 2-0 up. Geez, that would be hard to get over.

Sinner wins it!!

That’s gonna pinch for Medvedev having lost from two sets up against Nadal two years ago

Sinner was really in control of the match from the time he got a break back in the second set….i don’t think it would have gone five sets if Sinner hadn’t been a bundle of nerves for a set and a half.

Don’t get me wrong Medvedev is a good player and once he gets into an aggressive stride he’s difficult to deal with, but Sinner was struggling getting a first serve in for ages and once he started doing so, his service game was far more like it was throughout most of the tournament.

Whether Sinner is the next big thing I don’t know, with Nadal and Djokovic we’ve had two of the best returners in the game who wear their opponents down, Sinner is a far more aggressive player who’s main aim is just to hit the ball as hard as he can.

Not creating a new thread for this but Sinner and Alcaraz who seem best placed to become the new generation of top tennis players play each other in the semis of Indian Wells. From what I’ve seen of both, Alcaraz looks to me to be the better player although their head to head record is 4 wins each in eight meetings.

They are level on Clay, Alcaraz has the advantage 3-2 on hard court and Sinner the victor in their only grass match.

Alcaraz took on bees also.

Wasps rather than Bees but Remember scaring the shit out of an English teacher who wanted us to do a creative writing story that was horror themed. Expected a load of half arsed ghost stories, what she got was a story of an outbreak of hyper intelligent wasps who formed a swarm hive mind and as well as being murderous they were also collectively telepathic. They could get inside your head, and convince you if you stopped running it would be over for you quickly.

 don’t set the homework if you can’t handle it

Excellent

With any luck we will have young tennis players coming through the academies named Blasphemer, Idolater and Userer

Maybe a Whoremonger for good measure
