Spent my misspent youth in Deepdale. Great place Preston, or it was before it was overrun by you-know-who. Happy memories though. They had that stupid plastic pitch back then, that used to cause all eleven opposition to get injured every match. After the match we'd get run down by vicious coppers on horseback and then go and get a kebab that was probably made from the same horses parents. Actually, maybe it's rose tinted glasses. Anyway, didn't even know this match was on. Missed it. Seems like it all went well though.

He can, and if he’d started the game I’d be annoyed, but given he’s been out for a few weeks I genuinely don’t see the harm in him getting minutes in order to improve match fitness

Yep, if Barcelona can start Yamal (and not saying Nwaneri is at Yamal’s level, but the reason he was picked for Spain was because he was getting games for Barca last season)I see no reason why we shouldn’t start Nwaneri (might work better than trying to play Rice, Trossard whoever in the attacking midfield role)

Even if Odegaard is back soon, going to take him a while to get back to where he was (and he wasn’t that great in the first few games before he got injured…was he not carrying a knock in the Brighton game)
