There isn’t a title race and there hasn’t been one since February, but bollocks to Liverpool. Acting like they are back to being a big club for winning a second title in 5 years and a third one in 35 years. Fuck their entitled fan base (present company accepted with SIB ), fuck that bald Dutchman, fuck Salah, fuck that dickhead thug Van Dijk and fuck the fucking lot of them.
I will take nothing but the greatest of pleasure when things go back to normal for them next season, as much pleasure as I took from the assumption the cock sucking media made that Liverpool would be European champions only to go out at the last 16.
A pleasure that would only be topped by seeing Man City and Chelsea go into liquidation
I’m obviously in no way bitter about the title this season :haha:

If you want to be angry then aim it at the totally biased and corrupt arseholes who refereed the home game v Brighton, the away game at Citeh, the away game at Bournemouth etc etc and who also, yes turn a blind eye at the regular thuggery displayed by Van Dijk not to mention the entire Newcastle squad

To be fair, although I don't think Liverpool have been exceptional and no-one has really pushed them - it's been a poor quality league all round this year.
But they have gone and got the results. They could get get around 90 points which is pretty much par for a title winning side.

I’m bitter about the title too but that anger is more directed at our lame ass efforts this year. I’ve honestly never been bothered by Liverpool. Of all the big clubs I’ve considered our rivalry with them to be the least spiteful. If offered a choice I would much rather see them win things than Chelsea, City, United or Spurs.
Think I’ve always been a little envious of the history and connection the fans seem to have with the club and what that has pushed them on to achieve, especially against the odds.

Who says I’m not angry at those things as well
I’m mainly angry because this is our title they are winning to my mind. I don’t especially dislike Liverpool in general , but for the remainder of this season and until they get a few bruising defeats next season and put back where they belong…I’ll dislike them just fine thanks

Everything you say is true
But still though, fuck them. I’ve wanted them to lose every single game they’ve played this season. And that will continue next season as well (unless it benefits us for them to win)

Leaving SIB aside, I've not been sure what I thought of some of their fans and players historically - I think there's more nuance to Hillsborough than is generally safe to talk about :ninja:, then you have Heysel which is pretty clear and got English clubs banned from Europe (including, ironically, Everton which I'm sure amused Liverpool fans), also I didn't particularly like the sides of the 80's, Souness was a dirty so-and-so in particular. Still, I get that's in the past.
But yes, I would rather they won the odd title more than Spuds (obvs), Citeh, Man Ure, Chelsea...

it's not 'our title' - leaving aside the refereeing decisions, the club left us chronically understaffed in attack and also Arteta was still not deploying the right teams and tactics which would have showed a winning mentality (I will again mention Brighton at home)
though tbh I'm glad of all that because if we'd lost by just a very few points after those ref decisions I'd never have got over it - that's partly why I don't care as much as others about being second tbh

End of the day they prevented Spurs from winning the CL. Something that would have sent us all into the gutter had it happened.

I know what HCZ means though. We are the only side to have challenged City over the last 2 seasons. Last year we pushed them all the way to the final day.
We should have been the best placed to take advantage when they finally dropped a level.
It's jolly annoying to see Liverpool nip in and win it instead.

Liverpool will probably finish on 90 points. Business as usual for a title winner. Any talk comparing us to them is a joke. Yes, the refs have been horrible - and that was deliberate for sure. And yes, injuries have been horrible. Other clubs have had injuries, it's part and parcel. Up to the board to cover for that which they didn't. As you have pointed out. I hope we don't become that fan base that pretends we won a title when we are actually not even in the same ball park. 13 draws? Newcastle have won more games than us? They have more right to talk about being champions if only if.
Yes, we had everything in place to win this title. But it still would have been difficult against a relentless opponent. Even if the refs hadn't cheated - which they did. Even with no injuries. You think about that tip-tap bullshit we fall into every time somebody decides to park the bus, and we're still getting 13 draws.
