I’m in Liverpool this weekend, so see if there’s any traffic effect for Everton playing their first game in new stadium. The nearest train station is a mile away and there really is no available parking (you’d have to park in the city centre and walk)
Though then again not much different for Anfield or Goodison Park.

Yep, watched the highlights. I think Chelsea actually played well, the passing and movement was very good and what’s his name Estevao was a constant danger but fucking hell West Ham were appalling defensively, not just at set pieces but marking. I know playing out from the back is one of those things all teams try to do but when you’re that low on confidence you go back to basics

They’d have probably been in a relegation scrap last season if not for the awfulness of the promoted teams. And I don’t necessarily think they can rely on that to give them a cushion this time.

I think one of West Ham, Wolves or Brentford will go down this season (maybe even two if both Sunderland and Leeds survive)

Interestingly City don’t have a great record at home to Spurs (then again they don’t have a great record against Spurs full stop).
