Got to say, if it hadn't been for GW over the last couple of weeks this whole football business would have been too hard to bear and too easy not to bother with. Turmoil at the club I've supported forever, humiliating, crushing, soul destroying defeats to bitter enemies, mayhem in the transfer window, a mixed bag of departures and arrivals (to say the least), Almunia, Chamack and Squillaci still here (this might be the cruellest cut of all), and on and on, all bad news. What a terrible start to a season.

But, GW has been cracking. There are some seriously witty cunts on here that can turn even Arsenal's finest calamities into a laughing matter and that's what's needed, because things must surely get better so let's have a laugh while we're waiting. The ability to take the piss out of the club and each other, whilst still very obviously supporting the club to the bitter end (which will be along any moment now, by the look of it), is healthy stuff. Nice one lads.
