You appear to have missed out our greatest ever player, and thus this thread is void.

Bergkamp, Adams?........neither were playing at their peak in the last ten seasons to which i allude

Bergkamp from 2001-2006 was still better than any striker we've had since then

Likewise Adams and the defence

Herbert, you wouldn't want the Bergkamp of 01/02 or 03/04? And I don't think you allude to the players needing to be at their peak. For example I am not sure anybody could argue, no matter how high the hopes they have for him that Szjdhfeyffeyy is at his peak. Yet.

Lehmann as understudy to Chesney and Seaman not even in the squad? Seriously though. Henry over Chamakh? WTF? Asshole.

@ NQ :haha:

Hleb over Ljungberg? Let's be honest, the Invinvicles are the team of the decade. The others have either won nothing or performed very inconsistently, or haven't played enough.

this. The defence shouldnt be anybody but the invincibles.
and no Bergkamp, id watch if I were you. . . , could become the next addition to Flavs ignore list ;-)

Not even Pravda circa 1979 the Official Arsenal Website would go as far as make a list similar to the OP.

Let us be clear here. There is not one player in our current team that would make the first eleven. I'd maybe, just maybe have Van Persie in the 18 man squad, but that is it as far as the 2011/12 squad is concerned.

There's only two players from the the last 6 years of Wenger's youth policy that would get anywhere near the squad.

Cesc and RVP

Worst players over the past 10 years would probably be more interesting.

A real tussle for the CB position. lol

Harsh on Squid and especially Cygan tbh

We've had worse CBs than them in the last 10 years.

Baps being there is also harsh as is Eboue and Bendtner should be in there

Slightly more accurate tbh. Don't think Eboue has been that bad.

I remember Randall against Burnley in the Carling Cup in 08-09  That was such a shite performance.
