Swansea are no pushovers, they've only lost one league game at home all season. Spurs were lucky to get out of there with a point. It was the manner of the defeat which annoyed me. Typical Arsenal defence for their 2nd goal - 30 yards from goal, lose the ball cheaply and the next thing you know it's in the net. And then we get the equaliser and they're still showing the replays when we contrive to concede the 3rd.

Well, I love nicotine. It's fuckin wicked stuff. I just don't want cancer.

As nicotine is pretty harmless on it's own, I figured, I might as well get completely off my tits on the stuff and be addicted to that, rather than the bad shit in ciggies.

There's an app on my iPad for that! Only trouble is each smoke costs £400, but it does help you give up pretty damn quick.

Or there's electronic ciggies, not as fucked up and terrible as they used to be. You can use them to bait busybodies because they produce water vapour that looks like smoke. So when you "light up" on the underground you get all these tossers running up and screaming about not being able to smoke and FFS man you're going to kill us all like in Kings Cross. And you can say, fuck off and die cunt! Only downside is you can't make them terminally ill any more, which is why I usually push them under the train for good measure.

I had thought about those too, but it's more difficult to get hold of them as the twats in the DoH (irony in that I reckon) haven't studied them enough.

Or is it just because they're so bloody good at getting people to give up, that they won't make enough tax to pay for non-smokers to get public health services.

Dear Lord my chav friend is an idiot!

Yesterday she’s ranting about some teacher (or classroom assistant) ‘bullying’ her daughter. Obviously my friend wasn’t there when anything happened so, of course, she’s taking the word of a 10 year old over an adult without speaking to said adult and getting her side of it. So she spends all evening moaning about that with her chav friends joining in and her idiot brother making implied threads towards the classroom assistant.

Now today I see she’s kept her daughter home from school. Super. ‘Cos that’s what the chav friend's parents let her do and she turned out great and got a good job. Oh. Except no, she didn't. She's a fat layabout who lives her life on benefits, has never worked and scrounges off the state and her boyfriend.

I had a slight ethical dilemma recently too - my last employers kept me on the payroll and paid an extra month's wages - and chances were that, if I didn't stop it straight away, they would have just kept on paying me. Obviously I wouldn't have kept it and I would be required to pay it back too as far as I know. The decision was when to tell them - because if I had let it build up for around 6 months, I could've claimed the interest on it and given them back the exact value of overpayment. After talking to some people who know their accountant/law shit, they reckon I would probably get away with it. But decided against it and told them straight away. Kinda regret it tbh.

If you did it they'd find out sooner or later and want it back. You'd always have to keep the money ready to give back. Also, legally, you are obliged to tell them when you realise it, otherwise you can be charged with a form of theft, I think. Plus, since you knew, they would be in their rights to claim interest, most likely.

You did the right thing though - keep it simple. If you'd got untracable money in a brown envelope, then that would be different, of course. :)
