I was out every weekend for 6 weeks straight spending a fortune and getting the dirtiest hangovers, so I thought I better reign it in for a while. I'm going skiing next month and want to get in shape, it's going to be a messy trip so it's a case of charging up the batteries tbh.

Good for you. For the average drinker, I imagine you could save a lot of money by not drinking for a while. But you'll soon need to get into light training if you plan on playing in the CL knock-outs.

It's pretty lame because they're such a young club, the only genuine fans they have are kids who probably got into football 10 years ago when Wimbledon moved.

At least they've got a nice stadium though compared to other clubs at their level.

Think the metabolism is coming back into sync at just the right time, thank God, but I'd like to take a six-pack away on holiday at the end of Jan, so I'm gonna caine it between now and then.

Hmmm I guess a soft drink is out of the equation too. I'd go for an ale if you can, they might be stronger in taste but I think some actually have less calories, that way you'll appear macho but stay truer to the health kick. Or you could do a bit more walking tomorrow than your normally would to counteract the pub food.

Christmas names are so beta.

What would be alpha would be changing your name to someone known (no posters, please) and taking on their persona for the festive period. (DF is not allowed to participate due to excessive practice). It'll probably be a race for Wenger, Walcott, Van Persie, PHW, Joey Barton etc. Doesn't have to be in football though.

Would be awesome.

Its about time that outdated shit was abolished.

It makes me laugh that they think they're modernising the monarchy by legislating that if the first born is a girl she will be Queen even if she has a brother. Wtf? The way to modernise it is to get rid of it all together.

Think about it.

The whole concept that someone is born better then everyone else and has the right to rule everyone else is completely fucked.

Whats the point in fighting for equal rights when your always going to have one family who are above everyone else? Why should black people have equality? Why should women be able to vote? etc.

Everyone would have the potential to become the leader. I would rather pay for an elected head of state then be forced to pay for someone who has not earned their position.

The tourism argument is a load of shit. The Palaces and history would still be there, in fact the Palaces would be more accessible to tourists as they could be fully opened up. No one visits expecting to meet the Queen, and few tourists come for the sole reason of the Royal family its usually just a bonus. Lets be real, he is not just a normal guy in the Raf and his co workers no that. Im sure they were all happy for him.

cool its media propagand then, all organised by the royal family themselves. right, if thats your argument as to why people support the royal family or as you say "the moronic majority" im afraid, they are not the morons. it is in fact yourself.

Its the truth. Most people go along with what they have been fed by the TV/radio/papers etc. They're too stupid to think for themselves.

And based on your atrocious spelling and grammar its easy to see you are one of them.

Good day.

so you will have no objection to us calling prince harry a hero then given he is on a tour of duty in afghanistan with his regiment. and its not his first tour either. they both do their duties, they both work hard. whats the problem?

Harry gets extra security putting the additional soldiers who are tasked with his protection in unnecessary danger as well as increase the whole regiment's risk by making them a high priority target. Make no mistake about it Harry is perfectly safe just acting out his childhood action hero fantasies. Not to mention the added cost the extra security demands.

Work hard? Do me a favour love. They have never had to do a hard days work in their lives and never will either.

Monarchy is an anachronism, but since any money saved would only be wasted on some other shit I'm not really bothered about the 50p or whatever it costs per capita.

And any replacement as head of state would probably mean more politicians anyway, which is infinitely worse.

Email from my local theatre about upcoming shows:

Jazz legend Cleo Laine comes to Millfield Theatre for one thrilling night of musical excellence. Dame Cleo Laine is the only female artist to have received Grammy nominations in the jazz, popular and classical music categories. With a multi-octave voice, incredible scatting ability, and ease of transition from a throaty whisper to high-pitched trills, she is still the first lady of Jazz.

Sounds good!
