Although it's not much of a day off, a mate of mine has started his own advertising company to produce leaflets and fliers etc for businesses. He hasn't got anyone to deliver them though so I've stepped in to help. I don't envy the kid who he gets though, 35 quid for 1000 houses, that's just slave labour.

Giant Tropical Centipedes share their territories with tarantulas. Despite it's impressive length, it's a nimble navigator and some can be highly venomous. As quick as lightning, just like the tarantula it's killing, the centipede has two curved hollow fangs which inject paralyzing venom. Even tarantulas aren't immune from ambush. This centipede is a predator.

Most of the ones in town are #decent. My favourites in roughly descending order are:

Billy Elliot
Matilda
Lion King

Stalls is usually the best place to sit but it'll cost ya. Prices can get silly (£100+ for the best seats in the house) but you can usually get OK seats for about £50. The Dress Circle is OK too (that's the 2nd tier). I'd advise against the Upper Circle, it'll be cheaper but you'll be a long way from the stage.

Yeah BE is good, went to see it with the missus and we sat in the upper tier. Went into the theatre in Victoria to buy them and they were much cheaper than online. The woman did ask how we were with heughts and it got me thinking what have let ourselves in for but tbh the seats were fine, actually very good, we sat in the front row of the tier, mind.

Pub pricing is too damaging too. £12 to get a buzz going. Really feel for the elderly who can't get out. Also should be extra benefits for those with arthritis. On the plus side, if this weather persists we'll have solved the ageing population problem before Osborne finishes the job by building some concentration camps.

Do you use Quidco or Topcashback?

If not, register with them - you'll hear of deals and if you go to sites via them, they'll track it and you'll get some cashback too. Can take a while for the cash to come, but it usually does. I got over £300 back last year on some already tasty deals.

Also, give Richersounds a go. If you aren't too fussy, you could get some ex-display stock. Also, if you register as a VIP member - you'll get £10 off your first purchase. They have some 32" tvs matching your criteria.

Richer Sounds is excellent.

You can get some seriously good bargains from there particularly during sale periods. My local shop in MK generally stocks older models (only a year or 2 old mind) but if you aren't fussy about having the latest overpriced brand spanking new model then you'll find what you're looking for here.

I remember I spent an hour queuing up outside the store on boxing day a couple of years ago but it was worth it to get my hands on what I wanted.

She Wore A Yellow Ribbon
23-03-2013, 10:15 AM
yeah i looked at richersounds, only hesitation with that site is that some of their stock is second hand and i really dont want to spend only for it to break down in a months time, although there should be some sort of warranty i guess.

never used quidco, ill give it a go. really should have acted near the xmas period, huge 40 inch tv's knocked down to £200. being the tit i am i delayed it until now and there's not any good offers flying about anymore. hoping something picks up nearer easter.

also if anyone knows any shops around london then that'll be helpful too. usually buy my stuff online but i might spend some time going around the city to see if there's any good deals in shop.

She Wore A Yellow Ribbon
23-03-2013, 10:17 AM
well in that case i might give richersounds a go then.

Marc Overmars
23-03-2013, 10:40 AM
I would stay away from a 2nd hand model but I think Richer Sounds offer their own 5 year warranty for an additional £30 IIRC so you'll be covered at least. Yeah it's worth having a look around because what you find in-store won't always be advertised online.

I sometimes go round to Currys and the like (mind you there is fuck all of 'and the like' anymore) see what I want, take note of the model and then google it for better deals (and reviews).

Also, when checking out reviews - ignore the most gushing and most critical unless there is a consensus emerging one way or another.

In other news:

A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen
mask over his mouth and nose. A young student nurse appears and
gives him a partial sponge bath.

"Nurse,"' he mumbles from behind the mask, "are my testicles black?"

Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, Sir. I'm only
here to wash your upper body and feet."

He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, please check for me. Are my
testicles black?"

Concerned that he might elevate his blood pressure and heart rate
from worrying about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment
and pulls back the covers.

She raises his gown, holds his manhood in one hand and his testicles

gently in the other.

She looks very closely and says, "There's nothing wrong with them,
Sir. They look fine."

The man slowly pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her, and says
very slowly, "Thank you very much. That was wonderful. Now listen
very, very closely:

Are - my - test - results - back?"

Got an absolute ripper of a spot on my top lip. Hasn't gone white-headed puss phase yet, still in Red mode, but when it changes, it's gonna be a corker.
